Really? so al-jizya is equal to al-zakat (which is a loan word from Hebrew) sobhanallah! your claim is bogus in extant historical records infidles at times had to pay 50% of that they earned as jizya aka mafia tax aka protection money! and at times they had to pay the jizya of those that even died! al-zakat? Muslims did not have to pay it and this is why many people converted to islam in the Middle East but the funny thing here is the Muslim occupiers of their lands (even after such poeple converted to the religion of the Arabs) demanded that those wannabe Arabs continue to pay this blood money called al-jizya but you must wonder did Allah get his share of such loot?
