I cannot fault your faith Mr. Tovey

You speak well sir, for yourself and perhaps as well for the many others who are of the same thought. I think that the problem for me lies in the fact that Yeshua (for me) is a representative and an expression of the whole people of Israel and not merely one man or being. To single HIM out from the whole people is to misrepresent who HE was. HE WAS THE WHOLE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL

Consider the name Bar Abas. In Aramaic it means "The son of the father". Was Yeshua not also called son of the father? Who then was crucified and who set free? Who was the accuser and who was the accused? What was the meaning of Pilates question " What is truth?" Was Pilate seeking truth or was he merely seeking an excuse to proceed with the crucifiction? Why did he wash his hands of the blood when it was his word that condemned Yeshua? Did the washing of his hands absolve him of the workings of his tongue? How could anyone blame the Jews when it was Rome that held the power of life and death and not the Jews?

Amongst my own folk it is considered that a mans word it his deed and the two are like as one in the man. If I wish for the death of a man and another carry it out who is responsible for the blood of that man? Does the man who actually carries out the deed not have some responsibility? Many times in anger I have wished imprecations on a certain individual or group. Though I had better thoughts when my anger had cooled I knew that still the thought was my own and that I would be held accountable for it. Would a Jew, knowing the Torah and the true actions of the LAW of G-D wish for something that would in the end be laid upon him? I do not think so. No man of true wisdom would give himself to rash thoughts and irresponsible speaking.

G-D established a natural order for the whole of creation and from the beginning the world has proceeded upon that course. There has never been a single moment or event which occured outside of that natural order. To pose something as "Super natural" is to say that that thing or event was not subject to the order that G-D established. I know that there are those things which exist beyond my comprehension but to say that they are outside of the order that G-D ordained strains the mind. The belief in the so called supernatural has given rise to all manner of perversions and occultist nonsense. Hitler and the Nazi Party were a product of this stupidity as was the erroneus notion that Caesar was a god to be worshiped on an equal par with the G-D of Israel. The witch hysteria of the middle ages in which literally hundreds of thousands of innocent people were burned at the stake is likewise a product of such thinking. Would you wish to contribute to the furthering of such travesties?

The human mind has powers to shape the reality of the world surrounding that far outstretch the common knowledge of men in the world. That is what Yeshua showed us in all of his acts. But Yeshua was a trained adept in such matters. He was a master of the WORD. Such is what the tradition teaches in truth and if a man learn according to the tradition he also will attain unto mastery in the same way. So it was witnessed by all those who were the desciples of Yeshua. Thus it is held by my own folk that we must study the tradition and live it for ourselves not taking some other path. The paths of Rome or of the Greeks are not the true way for we all see that both Rome and the civilization of the Greeks are now but an ancient memory but the Jews are still with us. It is truth alone that will triumph in the end.
