Allah did tell Muslims that one Muslim is good enough to take on ten unbelievers, later he amended this special power of Muslims to just one of them to two infidels (8:65 – 66). This is the reason Muslims conquered Persia, the Byzantines, and enemy tribes using their bare hands while they fought uselessly with swords, spears, and catapults. LOL.

Now the verse below makes sense to me. The Muslims are told by Allah that using their muscle power and war horses they can strike terror into the hearts of non-Muslims armed to the teeth.

008.060 YUSUFALI: Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.

But this verse from Surah Tauba does not make sense: 009.041 YUSUFALI: Go ye forth, (whether equipped) lightly or heavily, and strive and struggle, with your goods and your persons, in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if ye (but) knew.

Was Allah asking Muslims to go to battle with scrawny light horses or fat heavy ones and cut down their enemies using karate chops?

What makes you think that non-Muslims would not fight back when Allah's soldiers went to convert them? Remember the gates of Vienna where Muslim advace came to an abrupt stop? Also remember Charles Martel who routed the "weaponless" Muslim invaders at Tours and saved Europe. Muslim force was met with force.

As you are a Haji from India I suggest you read what gleeful Muslim historians have written about the bloodshed during the Muslim conquest of India. I give you one quote: "…when they arrived at their destination at early dawn they surrounded Khambyat and the idolators were awakened from their sleepy state of carelessness and were taken by surprise, not knowing where to go, and the mothers forgot their children and dropped them from their embrace. The Muhammadan forces began to 'kill and slaughter on the right and on the left unmercifully, throughout the impure land, for the sake of Islam,' and blood flowed in torrents. They plundered gold and silver to a greater extent than can be conceived…

They took captive a great number of handsome and elegant maidens, amounting to 20,000, and children of both sexes, 'more than the pen can enumerate and thirteen enormous elephants whose motion would put the earth in tremor.' In short, the Muhammadan army brought the country to utter ruin, and destroyed the lives of the inhabitants, plundered the cities, and captured the offspring, so that many temples were deserted and the idols were broken and trodden underfoot, the largest was one called Somnat, fixed upon stone, polished like a mirror…." Page 43 Tazjiyatul Amsar Wa Tajriyatul Asar of Abdullah Wassaf, The History of India , as told by its own historians, Vol III, (translation by Sir H M Elliot and Prof John Dowson, Low Price Publications A-6 Nimri Commercial Centre, Near Ashok Nivas, Phase IV Delhi 110052).

The proof for bloody conquest and conversions is there for you to read in the history written by Muslim historians.

It was very generous of Ali to leave many infidels alive so that future generations of Muslim would have the opportunity to gain Allah's favour either by killing or converting them. The great Ali did set a great example for Mulims.

Here are some nice clean thoughts and thinking from Islam's holy books:

Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 449: Narrated Al-Bara: The Prophet said to Hassan, "Abuse them (with your poems), and Gabriel is with you (i.e, supports you)." (Through another group of sub narrators) Al-Bara bin Azib said, "On the day of Quraiza's (besiege), Allah's Apostle said to Hassan bin Thabit, 'Abuse them (with your poems), and Gabriel is with you (i.e. supports you).

Volume 8, Book 76, Number 450: Narrated Abu Dhar: …..He said, "It was Gabriel who appeared to me beside Al-Harra and said, 'Give the good news to your followers that whoever dies without having worshipped anything besides Allah, will enter Paradise.' I said, 'O Gabriel! Even if he had committed theft or committed illegal sexual intercourse?' He said, 'Yes.'

And here is the clean Islam of your Hazrat Ali:

Volume 5, Book 59, Number 637: Narrated Buraida: The Prophet sent 'Ali to Khalid to bring the Khumus (of the booty) and I hated Ali, and 'Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave-girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid, "Don't you see this (i.e. Ali)?" When we reached the Prophet I mentioned that to him. He said, "O Buraida! Do you hate Ali?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you hate him, for he deserves more than that from the Khumus."

How do you know? Have you been peeping into your Muslim neighbours' houses?

You are one confused Muslim. What has wearing clothes got to do with education? You are an Indian so you must have heard of Naga sadhus and Jain munis who go about stark naked and only an uneducated man will call them uneducated.

Strange Muslim logic as usual. You are saying that being fully covered has something to do with one's scientific capabilities. Maybe you are right. Westerners live in the cold north and so have to cover themselves up pretty heavily. Muslims live in the tropics and are lightly clothed. The Christians have an edge over Muslims as they are better covered. You have discovered a great scientific fact that the better clothed you are the more scientific discoveries will come your way. But now that the West is moving towards nudism (having invented centrally heating) you can expect the Muslim world to do better in the sciences.

An interesting fact you should know: There are only about 15 million Jews in the world against 1500 million Muslims. The Jews have won more than a hundred Nobel Prizes. The number of Muslims who have won the Nobel you can count on the fingers of your hands. Are the Jews better covered up than the Muslims?
