Eastern_Wind:Aap ne mujhe achha sabak sikhayaReader comment on item: Niqabs and Burqas - The Veiled Threat Continues Submitted by Plato (India), Sep 26, 2009 at 22:04 Eastern_Wind, you wrote, >>Personally I like to read your posts because you provide great knowledge.<< No need to thank me. Knowledge is our common heritage. But thanks for the thought anyway. >>Things that my priest didn't taught (he just tried to teach me 'Love Thy Enemies' that your priest missed) I learnt from you. Thanks.<< I missed out on the experience of priests during my childhood for which I am thankful to my parents. If all priests really teach what they taught you I cannot imagine why there is so much any hate in our world, especially in the part you are blogging from. If your priest taught you to love thy enemies he/she certainly could not have been a true 'green' mullah. >>I read somewhere that "Jis nay aap ko aik lfz be sikhaya wo aap ka aaqa hai" in light of this saying you can imagine how much I respect you. (is saying ke application kay silsaly main ziada depth main nahin jaiay ga)<< Totally agree. Even the posters I take issue with have taught me something and that includes you. >>So my dear teacher will you please tell me what is your purpose for writing these lines to me? "We know gender is very critical for Muslims, with the majority of the females ending up in hell and the male gender being superior as decreed by Allah. Male Muslims can thrash their wives (4:34) or shut them away for lewdness (4:15).Allah even takes umbrage at kaffirs attributing female children to Him while they themselves prefer sons: 037.149- 153 YUSUFALI: Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?"<< Many posters on the blog use names which are not of their gender. For instance can you know what my gender really is from my name? What I found interesting was your being so upset. Posting as you do from a country steeped in Islam and assuming (maybe badly wrong here) you are a Muslim I was trying to show you, assuming you were Muslim lady, that you have a deity who is acutely gender sensitive in a very negative way. >>Dear teacher you said, 'Does addressing you using a he or she change the meaning of what Proud Indian was saying?' Addressing me using 'he' or 'she' wouldn't change the meaning of what next person is saying but people like me who are proud of their gender more then Jewish males, it means a lot when someone uses wrong word for their gender and give chances to his/her freinds for lauging. I have no enmity with PI, he did mistake unconsciously and I tried to correct it. I just forgot to add few more words.<< Now you are my teacher. You have taught me that Jewish men are inordinately proud of their maleness. Though I wonder why, they had nothing to do with their maleness, they were just born males. No friends of mine would laugh at me if someone inadvertently addressed me using the wrong gender on a blog. >>…If you can't guess gender then use his/her id when you talk to him/her and don't use words like Mr. or Miss.<< Proud Indian has already answered you. >>The great Islamic 'scholar' Zakir Naik says heavenly 'hoors' have no gender I don't know who is zaker naik and what he says. Neither I listen him nor read his writings. (Thanks for telling what he says about Hoor) I consult my Dictionary (not Zaker's writings) and It says only that Hoor means Beautiful (gorgeous) women. Mistakenly I used plural word thanks for correction.<< My error in assuming (because many in Pakistan seem to be his devotees) you were a fan of Zakir Naik. >>"Jannat mein aap ki pasand kya hogay? Mard hazrat hoor ya awrat hoor? Allah jaaney?" Ager yeh mazaq hai tu bohat he baihooda qism ka mazaq kertay hain aap.<< Mere yeh likhne par aap ko dukh hua to mujhe maaf keejiye. But in many parts of the world one's sexual preferences are not an issue, hopefully neither is it in heaven. >>Aur ager tanz hai to mayaar say girra hui hai. Agger yeh sanjeedagee say poccha gaya sawal hai then first you should ask me what is your religion. Her airay gairay say asiay sawal nahin poccha kertay. Aainda dheehian rakhiay ga.J My Heavenly Father and His Paradise is as Holy as He Himself is. And if you don't know about His Holiness You can read Old Testament. J<< Aainda mai aap ka updesh (advice) ka khayal rakhoonga. From your use of J, references to Holy Father, and being taught to love thy enemies you sound Christian. I have read the OT but cannot decide who is holier, the OT or the Koranic Heavenly Father. If you had asked me to read the NT, now that would be different. >>(I believe it's sin to hurt my Teachers:) So I am extremely sorry if my words hurt you. With Kind Regards Ignorant Pupil<< Hurt me? I try to remember what J taught. Turn the other cheek. Regards Plato Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
