The Need for a Sinful Humanity to Repent in Jesus Christ ExposedReader comment on item: Niqabs and Burqas - The Veiled Threat Continues Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Sep 22, 2009 at 12:51 There is a reason that the Hebrew Holy Scripture remonstrates believers in not engaging in dialogues that degenerate into penny pitching diatribes about humanist perceptions of heavenly things. This previous post provides a quite clear example of why. The Holy Bible is presented to mankind as the revelation of Almighty God to a sinful humanity that is in rebellion to His WORD, and what is contained therein is exactly proved by the rebellious conduct of a sinful world wanting Almighty God to leave them alone. So why the surprise that mankind does not have the innate desire to follow the Holy Bible, but needs the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as provided by Jesus Christ and faith in Him as we read the Holy Bible for Its Truth. Every sinful thought and act of an unbelieving world is nothing more than a confirmation of the acts found in the Holy Bible; and the proof necessary to require belief in Jesus Christ as the propitiation for the sins of all who believe. Now, the supposed beliefs that there are errors in the Holy Bible are the result of a centuries-old process of compiling reasons why a sinful humanity does not want to believe in the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, of His Son Jesus Christ, and of His Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible. What better way to deceive humanity than to call into question the very WORD of the LORD as expressed from His own prophetical collection of Holy Writings, the Hebrew Holy Bible, something that came down from the very beginning and the first rebellion. There is a very real and very compelling reason Islam is the burgeoning religion in the world scene today, and it really has less to do with converting people to a Muslim way of life, rather it is a means to bring people who have rejected Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior to a place of submitting to the powers that be, say in the Islamic Revolution in Iran and elsewhere, as the apostasy of the Church as predicted in the Holy Bible comes full cycle. The WORD of the LORD has said it is so, and look around to see that, sure enough, it is so. Now the intermediate mission of the true Church was to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ (not to conquer the world, let alone Jerusalem-that remains for Jesus Christ to accomplish), preaching and baptizing as long as the time permitted is available. That is, evidently, by the things seen in the world today, a situation drawing to a close, the time left appearing to be very short in the eternal scheme of things. This can be seen in the re-establishment of Israel against all odds in the Arab dominated Middle East, making Israel the resident witness that her Almighty Sovereign is already at work bringing about a completion of all things. Understand here that Islam is a part of that process, predicted in the Holy Bible, to bring about the fulfillment of the Abrahamic prophecy to Hagar about Ishmael. Put into the proper context, the descendents of Ishmael are to be the foil for unbelieving Judaism as the LORD Almighty God fulfills His promise to Abraham through Isaac and Jacob, through whom we have received the basis of our faith in Jesus Christ, the single most influential Person in the world, historically or otherwise. Now it is easy to belittle human beings, even those claiming Christ as their Savior, for in their human weaknesses, the LORD chose to present the Gospel, not because they were perfect, but because HE is perfect. THAT is the witness, that a sinful humanity NEEDS Jesus Christ as their Savior, for they cannot escape the judgment predicted without Him. Asking Jesus Christ into our hearts, in the demonstrated love, mercy and grace of Almighty God, for the forgiveness of each of our sins is the only true and real way to escape the death penalty pronounced upon a sinful humanity. This is not offered in Islam, no matter the marvelous arguments presented by Islamic apologists, such as Zakir Naik and so many others. They cannot offer what is not provided in the Quran. Now the reviling of Jesus Christ as presented by the previous writer is nothing new, nor is any more degrading or humiliating that what Jesus Christ endured for our sakes as He hung upon the Roman cross at the behest of the Jewish rulers of the time. Those at the crucifixion were the greatest at spitting epithets on Jesus as He went through the process of dying for our sins. So there is nothing new in this hatred for Jesus, even as the Quran has nice (though erroneous) things to say about Him. The witness about Jesus Christ remains the same, that believing in faith that He died on the cross for our sins, and was raised from the dead for the justification of our belief in the hope of His return to assume His rightful place as LORD of Lords, King of kings, reigning in Jerusalem, Israel. From that perspective, then, there is no real reason to approach Islam in jealousy, instead trusting only in the Truth of the Hebrew Holy Bible as the completed and inerrant WORD of the LORD.
