The Destination of Eternity in Him is Found by Following His Path Thought His RighteousnessReader comment on item: Niqabs and Burqas - The Veiled Threat Continues Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Nov 9, 2009 at 18:00 A comparison of early experiences in which one may look at each of our developmental years produces a complexity of realities, which for me, are inexplicable in my mortal frame of reference. The wonders presented very early to me in my youth (my first encounters with fire, electricity, gravity and other such common sensory experiences), were not satisfactorily explained to me in a way that I would now say was valuable, except that where there was the nominal dangers associated, I remembered what I was told enough not to violate the natural laws that governed their control in the next encounter. Spiritual laws would come later under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit in the Hebrew Holy Bible. Next, being older, my exposure the same processes of encountering things of nature like the creepy crawlies -insects, spiders, snakes-,larger animals like wild cats, bears and the like produced an experiential knowledge, eventually reinforced with written resources to detail each in its form and habitat, allowing me to determine which required respect for its prowess and inherent antipathy to the human species, and which were subject to my inquisitiveness and curiosity and ability to overcome. People, on the other hand, were a curiosity of a different sort, from relatives of my first experience with the mortal realm, to outsiders, for whom I was given parameters of association, not in the sense of ethnicity or such (for was ignorant of such things until high school), but of character and predisposition towards each other. In the same vein that I did not conform to the predetermined course many thought I would follow, as more and more experiential situations were encountered, my own mind required enough 'facts' for evaluation before an opinion was formed; but when formed, more than nominal amount of intellect would be required to deflect what was learned. This only came when I was introduced to the Hebrew Holy Bible, and only after I was introduced to His Holy Spirit. In those days, His name was introduced as Jesus Christ, this being done in the typical American Protestant religious environment. As time progressed before accepting Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, the knowledge was presented in the programmed fashion of the times just after World War II. Initially, my experience with Jesus Christ was limited to going to church at the appointed time, then to be dismissed for the things that would capture the imagination of the moment during the rest of the week. It has taken (and it is a process still going on) more than thirty years to review each former understanding of my first twenty years of life to learn what the real Truth is that the Holy Spirit has been leading me to understand through the Holy Bible. Now, after those thirty some odd years, we are in the most difficult times this world has known since the first appearance of Yeshua HaMashiach in Israel. Everything He has said that is going to come true has either been fulfilled, or is about to be fulfilled. What has been fulfilled that has a direct bearing on my life is done, as only He could have done it. What remain(s)(ed) to be fulfilled, especially in the macro sense of this mortal realm that we see in the throes of Biblical circumstances, I am expecting to see fulfilled, either in my immediate mortal lifetime, or as an observer in the eternal realm. My validation of this belief is couched and permeated in His WORD, the validation having its legitimacy preached, prophesied and completed in the life and times of Israel and its people. That is my proof of His reality externally, His Spirit being my proof internally. It is the only path I can follow (Psalm 119:105). It is to this Truth that I witness Yeshua HaMashiach. In these later years as I have seen many try to assimilate 'christianesque' ideologies into one or another form of false religion (such as we read of the Muslims who try to usurp Christianity for their own), I have taken the approach that Islam exists merely for the disbelief that the Islamic Prophet had in the words of Yeshua HaMashiach, and the paradox of that thought process that say they believe Him, but call Him a liar in the next breath. This denial is part and parcel of the enmity Islam has for Christianity, and which extends to all who do not submit to Islam. Like the Muslim mentalities that require spiritual truths to be hidden like the faces of women behind the veils, there is a mortal reality of sin that tries to hide the way men, women and children need to go to seek His Truth in the Hebrew Holy Bible. Truly, not all paths followed will direct humanity to Him, but only as He directs by His Holy WORD does His Truth lead the individual's heart to its destination in Him. By the power of His love, it is this path I am compelled to follow, and none other. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
