not the same God at allReader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued Submitted by Lactantius Jr (United Kingdom), Sep 14, 2012 at 14:10 To Agyekum Adu Robert You say that "Allah is the same as God so you must come together," and I utterly reject this. Allah, whoever he is, is not the same God as the God revealed in the printed words of the Holy Bible, and supremely revealed in His living, loving Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, and as for "coming together," this can only happen when Muslims reject the false god Allah and Muhammad his false prophet and spotted sinner, and accept the Lord Jesus Christ, the spotless, sinless, all-sufficient sinners Saviour. On first being confronted with the being who appeared to him in the cave on mount Hira, Muhammad was frantic with fear, thinking that he was in touch with the devil, was he right in thinking this? here is what the Holy Bible says, "And even the devil can masquerade as an angel of brilliant brightness" The Holy Bible 2 Corinthians 11:14 In his fear, Muhammad attempted to commit suicide by throwing himself off the mountain, only being prevented from doing so by the being appearing to him again and urging him not to kill himself, but to believe that it really was the angel Gabriel appearing to him in the cave and not the devil, was this the truth? Here is what the Holy Bible says about "the father of all lies," "He (the devil) has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies." The Holy Bible John 8:44 And what of the message brought by Muhammad and recorded in the Qur'an? Here is what the true and living God says in His Word the Holy Bible, about different messages brought , even messages claiming to have been brought by angels!! The claim that Islam makes for the Qur'an, messages that contradict and seek to overturn the gospel He first caused to be brought by the Lord Jesus Christ and His first followers, Speaking at the time of 911, Mr John Ashworth, the then US Attorney General said, "The difference between Christianity and Islam is that the God of the Bible sent His Son to die for us, whilst Allah the god of the Qur'an requires Muslim's sons to die for him," that's some difference isn't it? and whilst Mr Ashworth emphasised a profound difference between Almighty God and Allah, in what follows, rather than quoting what politicians say, I quote extensively from Christianity and Islam's most authoritative sources, that is, the Holy Bible and the Qur'an, and those wanting to check my Biblical quotations can do so online at, and Qur'anic quotations can be checked online at, Islam does not believe in the God revealed in the printed words of the Bible, and supremely revealed in His living, loving Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, and when Muslims are asked, "is this your God?" the Muslim will reply, "No this is not our God." The Bible saying, "Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life." The Holy Bible 1 John 5:12 Jesus Himself saying to the disciples, "Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting Me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting Me. And anyone who rejects Me is rejecting God, who sent Me." The Holy Bible Luke 10:16 Allah (whoever he is), is not the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, it just won't do to smooth over profound differences, the love of God being uniquely expressed in His Son Jesus Christ's propitiation of our sin. The Father's utterly amazing love for us shown in His sending Jesus to die on the Cross for our sins, "For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." The Holy Bible John 3:16 "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." The Holy Bible Romans 5:8 "God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him." The Holy Bible 1 John 4:9 Jesus Christ, the sinners all-sufficient Saviour Himself saying, "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give His life as a ransom for many." The Holy Bible Mark 10:45 "I am the one who raises the dead to life! Everyone who has faith in Me will live, even if they die. And everyone who lives because of faith in Me will never really die." The Holy Bible John 11:25-26 If you know nothing else about Islam Agyekum, know that deception lies at the very heart of Islam, the 58 Arabic words of Surah 4:157 denying that the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, claiming that Allah put a "lookalike" on the cross; and if this is true, he deceived Christians at the time of the Crucifixion and has deceived Christians and Muslims alike for the last 14 centuries. Ask yourself what this says about the nature and character of Allah, comparing and contrasting that with the nature and character of the God of the Bible Who cannot lie. You notice I refer to the God of the Bible, and to Allah, and I do so, because whilst the Qur'an claims they are the same, saying, "And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, 'We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our God and your God is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam).'" Surah 29:46 they are not the same, the Qur'an saying Allah is not a Father and doesn't have a Son, compare and contrast the following mutually exclusive references to the Holy Bible and the Qur'an:- "And they crucified Him, and parted His garments, casting lots; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet" The Holy Bible Matthew 27:35 "They killed him not, nor crucified him" Surah 4:157 "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased" The Holy Bible Matthew 3:17; 17:5 "No son did Allah beget" Surah 23:91 In denying that the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, Islam therefore knows nothing about His glorious resurrection from the dead, on which Christianity absolutely stakes its claim to validity, well may the Apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, have said, "And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your trust in God is useless." The Holy Bible 1 Corinthians 15:14 Looking at the most authoritative source documents of Christianity and Islam, that is the Holy Bible and the Qur'an, reveals a mutually exclusive difference between the God of the Bible and the Qur'anic Allah, and the best way to resolve this for yourself Agyekum, is not to listen to what I or any other follower of the Lord Jesus Christ say, or to listen to what other Muslims say, look at what the Bible and the Qur'an say themselves, and this has been done so well in the Internet publications I refer to, which source their statements in the Holy Bible and the Qur'an, and base their conclusions on them. Is Allah The God Of Bible? The Love of God in the Qur'an and the Bible God so loved the World.... Allah of Islam, Is he Yahweh God of the Bible? Revelation : Do We Worship the Same God ? Read these for yourself Agyekum, and you will then be able to decide whether the God of the Bible is the Qur'anic Allah, and do remember Agyekum, you're going to live forever, please choose your address, please turn to the only One who can save you, please choose life in Jesus' Name, "The only Name under heaven given by which men may be saved." The Holy Bible Acts 4:12 With kind regards and best wishes Lactantius Jr.
