Reader Prashant, in his inimitable style that presents an intellectual challenge in a forum that has demonstrated a unique perspective in a religiously, while philosophically influenced, situation that has been an enigma of an historical sort going back two thousand years, in the era that commenced with the crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection of the Jewish Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach, the love of whom was later interdicted by the introduction of Islam. Islam, with the religiously asserted claim of replacing salvation by Yeshua, goes further in religiously attempting to absorb all religious affinities of all previous religious endeavors in Asia; Hindu; Buddhist; Zoroastrianism; et al; all with varying degrees of diminishment, but never fully in vanquishment.
In its more recent variant form (all of the divisions of Islam), adherence to the Quran has attempted to be the replacement still, but diminished nevertheless by suffering losses in the Ottoman empire's defeat last century.
Reader Prashant poses the inquiry: how does one 'expose' the continued endeavors of the more devoted Muslims that are attracted to the more virulent aspect of Quranic teachings in that adherence to the theology it proposes remains the life force of true belief in the Quran? To wit: what is the life energy one is supposed to dedicate in order to be true to the Quran if there is no love in demonstrating that following its tenets always leads to death? Is there truth in that?
