The Arab nationalist movement in Palestine is OVER. It has been for a long time. Nations are defined by a common religion, language and borders. Without inclusion of Israel in its borders, the Arab nationalist movement has no borders. Their claim to such borders is based solely on anti-Semitic hatred. Their religion and language are not unique.
Today, Israel is the largest engine of economic growth in the region. The Arab League States know that and are finally realizing that the Palestinian Arabs are in the way of much-needed progress and economic development. Throw in Iranian imperial expansionism and the Arab League States are changing their attitude; some more quickly than others.
A good friend of mine often says: "Organizations with the words 'peace' and/or 'justice' in their usually represent neither. As such, nobody should be surprised that "progressive" organizations typically display overt anti-Semitism in their policies and actions. They and their Iranian partners routinely support the Arab national movement in Palestine because that movement is based solely on anti-Semitic hatred. As a practical means of establishing an Arab Palestinian state, the tactic is a non-starter and these organizations know it.
The Arab national movement in Palestine is OVER. Its only purpose and means of survival is its value to anti-Semites who will always be there to support it. The real danger it poses today is to Jews in the Diaspora who now face growing domestic anti-Semitism.
Sincerely,
