Thinking Out of the Box: Islamic Republic of GazaReader comment on item: Spelling Out Israel Victory Submitted by Robert (United States), Oct 28, 2022 at 14:15 Israel is a Parliamentary Republic Democracy with a Multi-Party System. That means any policy view can emerge and spur the creation of a Party expounding that view. Gaza has no Jews (or Israelis) and is govern, de facto (not de jure), by Hamas, a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot. Regarding Samaria and Judea (the so-called "West Bank") which constitutes the Disputed Territories and is ruled by the Palestinian Authority under President (Dictator) Abbas, that is the de jure authority of Gaza at least. The question is how to solve the issue of the Two State Solution that is sanctioned by the United Nations and most of the countries (states) of the world under alleged "International Law" (or should I say "international lawlessness") becomes a problem for the world at large rather than Israel. The only way for an Israeli Victory is to win over the countries of the wold by having them move their embassies to Jerusalem and recognize it as the Capitol of Israel. Any country that refuses, in the long run to do that is an Enemy of Israel, or Ignorant, or engaged in Realpolitik whereby only or mostly nation interests matter. Once again, President Trump is the best USA president regarding the interest of Israelis and Jews. He started the ball rolling on this issue with his successful Abraham Accords. Jews and Arabs are, by Religion "cousins" because they are both descendants of Abraham's two sons, Isaac and Ishmael (if your a Jew, or Ismael and Isaac if your an Arab). I think this religious fact is extremely important because the scripture of all three religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam affirm it. As Islam is evolving for life in the "modern world" we finally see a move closer to the Jews, and therefore Israel. Furthermore, Muslims are more likely to shed their Antisemitism because religiously they are closer to Jews than they are to Christians except for Christian Fundamentalists. The recent 4 decades of disasters (in almost all the Arab and Muslim states) must be causing Arabs to abandon the Palestinians in favor of Israelis. Consider particularly Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt. These are all cases of Arabs or Muslims at war with their own Muslim only populations, while Israel is thriving except for its Palestinians, Arabs, and a small Arab Christian minority running churches in Israel or Palestine. Victory implies War and War implies a Front (of battle). Iran's Muslim (Shia) fronts are in Syria and Lebanon. And the other Arab fronts are in Gaza, Jerusalem, the Disputed Territories (the so-called West Bank) and the (former Syrian) Golan Hights. On this last front Israel just signed a deal with Lebanon recognizing their mutual maritime Line (a de facto Border) so both can exploit the Gas in their respective domains, and Hezbollah has accepted that. We also see that in Iraq, Iran is loosing its grip, as Hezbollah is distancing itself from Iran. So, Victory for Israel is very complex, unlike Ukraine where the enemy is only Russia and the borders and fronts of Ukraine are well defined and recognized by International Lawlessness (the United Nations). Consider particularly Sri Lanka's notable: "UN Commission: Israeli 'occupation' is illegal." And in particular, consider this: Navi Pillay (of Sri Lanka), Chair of the "United Nations Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel." https://www.jns.org/un-commission-israeli-occupation-is-illegal/
