India, Hinduism, & ramila Jayapal, U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), Chair, Congressional Progressive Caucus

Things are not always how one expects.

Take, for example, Pramila Jayapal, U.S. Representative, (WA-07), Chair, Congressional Progressive Caucus. When she was sworn into office she did so on a copy of the Bhagavad Gita. For those not versed in the history and culture of India, this is a religious Hindu text analogous to the Christian Bible, Jewish Scriptures (more or less the "Old Testament"), and the Muslim Koran. Ms. Jayapal roots are in the southern most states of India; she does not officially announce her religion, and Wikipedia does not list it either. But one can assume that she is in fact of Hindu extraction, rather than Muslim. USA Rep. Jayapal is important because she represents also the Progressive wing of our Democratic Party.

Here is the fiasco that she just created, apparently through Negligence, as she effectively admits:

It seems to me that India, like Israel, has a Left Wing Diaspora that are sympathetic to the "unfortunate" Islamists of the world. And, apparently, she is the leader of The Squad as well.

I hope Prashant submits some commentary about her since he is an Indian Diaspora commentator, so his views pay prove useful or interesting.
