It is of course Marxism that emphasized economics in human relations.
Unfortunately this issue is mostly, or only, seen through the history of Leninism and the Soviet Union
as well as China and Communist China.
We have just seen Lebanon Hezbollah effectively accepting a deal regarding it gas resources by coming to terms with Israel (This will mean a minimum amount of peace obviously).
Now it looks like there will be a deal among Gaza, Egypt, Israel, the PA, and Hamas regarding the gas reserves off-short of the Gaza Strip.
These look like the fringe benefits of the Russia-Ukraine "special military operation" which makes Europe desperate for alternate gas sources because those from Russia are no longer available.
In summary, we are seeing Peace or Victory from outside in; when other players are involved beside Israel and the Palestinians, the conditions for peace and victory for Israel increases.
