Israel in in the targeted sights of just about every General Assemby participant and not in a good way. It cannot be underestimated that with very little more provocation, Israel will be the focus of more dierst hostilties, now that the mood of the Ukrainian incursion has been thrown Israel's way for not being more supportive of the Ukraine's defense. War has been in the Israeli zone of operations since almost forever and the apparatus to conduct the next intifada intersects Israeli airspace with mere seconds/minutes of launch detection and respomnses are harder and harder to defend. Sending those resources abroad does not make any sense, irrespective of Ukraine's dire predicament.
[The goal here is not Palestinian love of Zion, but closing down the apparatus of war.]
We read elsewhere in Dr. Pipes' forum (see above) of how to entertain a cease fire (let alone victory) is closing down the apparatus of war to give Israel a rest, but the visits of the Russian with PA leader Abbas does not appear to provide that relief. If anything, the collaboration of the Iranian Islamic Regime and the Russian would appear to send a message that once the Ukrainian opposition is quelled, even temporarily, Isarel being on the agenda is not all that far out of the picture. With the American defense option being waylaid after the election, all options can be considered since no one is seriously going to disarm the 'Palestinian' apparatus before the next intifada explodes over the Temple Mount and Zionist intentions for greater expressions of the religion.
