Russia v. Ukraine in relation to Israel v. Palestine, and VictoryReader comment on item: Spelling Out Israel Victory Submitted by Robert (United States), Sep 25, 2022 at 11:36 History works in complex ways. Dr. Daniel Pipes uses a military term, not necessarily metaphorically, but literally. That term is "Victory." Militarily, Victory is achieved through the barrel of a gun in the hands of a soldier or policeman. That was true, ideologically and politically up to and thorough the 19th century. It was Woodrow Wilson, with his Fourteen Points, resulting in the League of Nations, and the "New Wold Order," which attempted to prevent War. In fact, that is the mission of the successor organization, the United Nations. However, Putin, whose Russia has a seat on the UN Security Council, with a Vito Power, that in fact, a "Special Military Operation," a euphemism for "War," is still the way to go. In other words, Russia wants to be Victorious by using all available "Police Force" (which includes Armies) by taking pieces of Ukraine by Military Force. It appears to me that Providence has created this situation in the World. Unlike Russia, however, Israel is merely Settling Israelis and Jews in the so-called "occupied" Palestine. Has Russia "occupied" Ukraine? But the difference is at least in the degree of violence. There is no direct Violence when Israelis Settle, for example, in the so-called "West Bank," or Jerusalem. But the so-called "Special Military Operation" by Russia in Ukraine consists of Civilian Targets and Casualties and even War Crimes. This all makes it possible to judge Israel in its quest for Victory by de facto, as opposed to de jure, international Political and Legal Standards. Putin, before he invaded Ukraine, published a long essay arguing that historical Russia includes Belarus as well as Ukraine. But Israel is by far on stronger historical ground that all of Palestine and even Jordan (formerly Trans-Jordan) is ancient Hebrew, Jewish (Judaic, Judah), and Israeli (Israel) land. I am suggesting and recommending that Israelis and Jews engage more in an "Ideological war." In this context "Victory" is used in its non-military or non-violent sense. In other words, there is a "war of words" possible in this context where Israel can emerge Victorious ideologically. But also, I suggest - less obviously, that Israel can and may recommend that the so-called "homeless" Palestinians "go back to where they came from" after Imperialist Conqueror Mohammad, and his political successors Settled the Holy Land of the Jews and Christian, By the way, the First Christians were all Jews, including Jesus and his Twelve Disciples. Subsequently non-Jews were baptized and accepted into the Jewish Christian Church or Community. However, the Arabs of West Palestine were "given" Jordan. And they may all move, or have the right to move, into Jordan. But also, Arabia includes Saudi Arabia, so Palestinians, arguably, have a right to "return" to this land, from which Muhammadan allegedly hails. And the so-called displaced Palestinians already have, or were recognized, as having a right to Gaza, which can absorbs more displaced or other Palestinians if Gaza becomes non-violent under Hamas and recognizes the Victory of Israel. But there is also room in the rest of the Arab and Muslim world for any other unhappy or deprived Palestinian Muslims, particularly in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Egypt if Violence and Arab Muslim Civil Wars cease in their own lands - and this violence ceases or otherwise comes to an end. Israel should not be blamed if Muslims in Iran, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon make their countries economically and p[politically unbearable for Absorption because Jews have and are coming back to their ancient historical land, namely Mandatory Palestine. In brief, Putin has made it less convincing that Israel is the most anti-UN country in the world in the way it treats its Civil War adversaries, namely the Palestinians. Countries that are neither in the European Union, or the US and its other Western Allies, such as China and India for example are merely demanding Peace, or a Peaceful Settlement of Putin and his Russia. They are not even demanding directly from the Ukrainian territories he has conquered. Israel is merely Settling its own People, Israelis, within Palestine. There is no Violence in that Peaceful activity. How many Arab countries are there in the wold where Palestinian Arabs can resettle" or "settle"? Wikipedia tells us that there are 22 Arab counties in the world. Israel should demand that these 22 Arab countries open their borders to all Arab Palestinians who are willing to move their Arab "homelands." There should be much more pro-activism on the part of Israel and the world-wide scattered Jewish Diaspora. As I pointed out, the word "Victory" distracts us from seeing the Political and Diplomatic activities that should take place pro-actively, and in military terms Israel is already Victorious. On the other hand, it may be necessary for Israel to engage in War again (1) Iran and it's Nuclear threat against the Jews of Israel, (2) Lebanon and Hezbollah with its stockpile of 150,000 missiles, and (3) Gaza and its Hamas and Islamic Jihad waiting to destroy Israel also with missiles. But perhaps Israel is waiting one-year before it finally develops its laser defensive stockpile of weapons that will make the stockpile of missile weapons of its enemies obsolete.
