While this American observer has certain affinities for the four years of the 45th American Administrations efforts of 'interrrupting' the 'transformation' of the prevoous administration's corrupting the Constitutional processes, it cannot be helped but to notice similarities of interferences in Israeli political intrigues as well when considering the drama of the 2018 interface in which American politics stunned the status quo by moving the embassy to Jerusalem; an act that seems to still frighten many (Birtain, Australia, et al); but the more surprising to this observer is the reluctance and reticence of the sons of Israel still ensconced in faraway lands, seemingly, willingly, wanting to remain comfortable abroad while looking for the relief as promised in Jeremiah's Lamentations continued to be challenged by a world still bent on keeping ISrael under the thumb of anti-Semitism.
The former 45th President, while looking for a Grover Cleveland repeat of history in catching a separated second term at the American Administrative processes, is operating in the background in competition with the very same forces that had him deposed from his first term and it remains to be seen if they are successful in keeping him occupied with criminal political intrigues that remain as an infection in legal contentiousness.
It is similar in Israel; that while operating in quasi-democratic politcal intrigues of their own, there is the definitively divided circumstance of such a diverse set of opinions as to how to survive, let alone govern, such a stubborn collection of citizens that cannot seem to even define what constitutes a citizen; how does such a nation survive?
There is an answer; but no one appears ready to embrace what it takes to understand it. And, if it is to be understood from a Jewish perspective, not necessarily from the Diaspora standpoint, not even a prompting from a former president of the United States, the is only one source the people of Israel need to call upon.
