Israeli Victory - Over Lebanon

Lebanon is a failed state. Nevertheless it just succeeded in executing a maritime agreement with Israel through the intermediary of the United States. Hezbollah apparently accepted the terms. Israel's greatest immediate military threat is Hezbollah, a Shia militia very close to Iran. However, the oil fields on the boundary of Israel produce a motive which conflicts with that of Iran. And now Hezbollah, with allegedly 150,000 projectiles aimed at Israel from the North has a strong monetary motive not to fire them.

I think this is an example of how Israel will achieve its goals of Victory - steps which have nothing to do with the Palestinians directly.
