sTs - you stray off the point - still , you've offered no proofReader comment on item: The Enemy Has a Name Submitted by The Grand Infidel of Kaffiristan (Australia), Jun 25, 2008 at 19:12 sTs - you've tried to refute the points I've made by refuting points I did NOT make. Hardly a clever tactic - everyone can see through it. You wrote: "There is no skeletons on Angels either found anywhere on earth, so there is no proof there were AngelDid they find the remains of the angels that went to Abraham or Lut or Moses??So much for your logic." Look through my post again - did I write anything about 'Angels'? No, I did not,. So much for your ability to see what is right in front of you "I will get along with your silly discussion." It's not my discussion that's silly - it's the subject matter - your claim for Mohammed's visit to Jerusalem - which is NOT recorded in the Muslim fables. 1- Alburaq is not a donkey, it is a heavenly creature that came with Gabriel ,Oh, really? Please describe the appearance and nature of this animal then seeing that you are so well informed. What does it look like, what does it eat, what is it's mass, gestation period. Where do these animlas live now if not on earth? At what speed do they fly? Was the appearance of wings on a four-footed animal a gradual evolotionary development or was this just a genetic freak? If the latter , what beasts sired this aberration? So as I originally requested - provide proof for non-Mulsim readers of the existence of this one-off animal - outside of Muslim fairy stories. You have not done so - because as you know - as we know, you are unable to do so, "2- Enoch, Elijah, Jesus all ascended to heavens before, so it is not unusual for a prophet to ascend." If such a thing were possible then Iprophets, maybe. BUt certainly not Mohammed. That is all conjecture anyway - and we are talking about you providing proof. "3- Canaan the fathers of the Arabs established themselves in Palestine around 4000 BC" What are you talking about ? Did I mention anything about Canaan? Your task was to provide proof for the existence of the Burak. It still is. If you could, your belief system would gain a little more credibility than the zero points it now has. 4- The signs as a proof that he went to Jerusalem was narrated by the prophet himself to the people of Quraysh who first did not believe in this journey, saying how can you go in one night when it takes us one month to go and one month to cone back. 200 years ago would anyone believe that we can go in less than hour from Mecca to Jerusalem by plane. Hey, sTs - would you believe me if I said Moses went to Jupiter? What?? You don't? Why not? (Oh, you doubter and disbeliever, a fatwah on your head.) But you will believe without question what somebody with a desire to believe the outlandsh (i.e. a person like you)) wrote many, many centuries ago about a person he had never met who it was in his interests to describe fancifully and with hyperbole. "5- The prophet never set foot in Jerusalem, while many of the Quraysh people did, saw they asked him to describe Jerusalem, and when he did, they all became believers and followed him." If he never set foot in Jerusalem (which is no doubt true) - then why the claim to the Temple Mount? I've never been to Rovaniemi. Finland. If I describe it to you - would you believe me and follow me - especially if you'd never been there or seen it either? "6- Th e prophet said that when God created Adam he made the first house of worship that is Kaba'a and after 40 years he made the second house of worship in Jersusalem" This is the point - he could have said anything. Saying something doesn't make it true. Leading on from your statement - when was Adam created - which year? Can we date the Kaaba back to that year? Does that hold up to scrutiny by geological dating techniques? '7- The prophet said that pilgrimage is only to three, Al-Haram Mosque, and my mosque (In Madina) and the Farthest Mosques (in Jerusalem)' OK, please state where Jerusalem is equated with the 'f'arthest mosque'. Which line of the Koran says that? '8- Aisha was not his wife then. Khadijah and his uncle just died and God to raise his morals, he made him this trip ' So, let's get this straight - you're saying God allowed him to make the trip on the flying horse/donkey/whatver 'with the face of a woman' - to raise Mohammed's morals?. And AFTER that he married the 9 year old Aisha? Right....... what went wrong? Didn't he ike the in-flight service? '....... and to give him the orders of prayer on the Muslims.' Oh that's right - they couldn't hack realising God-consciousness 24/7 - so a deal was made - and he wangled it down to 5 times a day. "I suggest that you stop talking rubbish on something you don't understand, once you understand it then talk." I think it's best to leave it to the other readers to decide who is talking rubbish don't you? I'll admit my bias is to favour rationality. But you're hardly an unbiased observer are you -? an arab proverb "If talking is made of silver, silence is made of Gold" Some of the other Miracles that Mohammad performed by the will of God 1- Food & water multiplication 2- crying of the stem tree 3- The speech of the wolf 4- God split the moon for the unbeliever to believe by the request of the Prophet Unfortunately none of these things can be considered proof or be verified by dispassionate observers who were living at the time. . There's no proof of God accomodating Mohammed's request to have the Moon split for him. The Chinese were keen astronomers in the 7th Century - no such event was recorded by them. Just as there was no overflight or landing at Jerusalem of a winged quadraped reported by Jewish or Christian scholars - WHICH WAS MY ORIGINAL POINT - and which you have still failed miserably to prove.. And now that you bring it up - there is no record of Mohammed's ascension into any heaven from those same scribes. Odd, isn't it?
