There is No Time for Waiting-The Holy Bible Says Now is the TimeReader comment on item: The Enemy Has a Name Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Aug 12, 2008 at 14:26 There is no luxury left in saying "you only have to wait and see that you are wrong." In fact, this phrase can be turned to anyone who thinks that there is any time left, for anything. One cannot even sit in the relative lap of comfortable living like that found in the United States, or even in Dubai, and not see that the world is on the brink of its judgment for unbelief in Jesus Christ, and to say that disciples of Jesus Christ are not aware of what is going on say in Israel (or even European Georgia) in light of the truth of the Holy Bible is somewhat ironic. Friends, readers, these ARE the time true Christians have been waiting for, and our justification for believing in the Holy Bible is coming true right before our very eyes. Wait? What for: for everything the Holy Bible says about such things are happening, right NOW! The world is in a time that is unmistakable in Biblically influenced terms. And in a contemporary vein of thought, the spiritual challenges to those who hold a disciple of Jesus Christ's view are daunting, but not overwhelming, especially with the assurances of the Holy Bible for those that truly love Jesus Christ and His impending return. When considering the various contradictions to Holy Scripture by so many who hold them in contempt, few are more compelling than the confrontational objections by people who do not believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, attempting to cite non-Biblically based arguments to further the fallacy of not believing His declaration of being equal with the Heavenly Father, caused by the initial unbelief of the Chief Religious Rulers of the time who had Jesus Christ sentenced to the Roman cross. Jesus Christ had many enemies, starting from His own village where the rumors about how He was born were less than appropriate for ‘observant' members of the Jewish community. This followed Him to the beginning of His ministry thirty years later, and would be thrown in His face up to, including, and after His death on the cross. But of the things that condemned people in unbelief, none is described as most damaging than to dismiss the power and affect of the Holy Spirit, promised to believers in Jesus Christ as the Comforter after His Ascension into Heaven. It is the Holy Spirit Who, when salvation in Jesus Christ is sought out in belief, initiates the new birth in everyone who seeks Him in truth. The whole of the Biblical references that assert the Deity of Jesus Christ are on display in the Word of the LORD, the Holy Bible. Most are prophetically employed in the Holy Scriptures written prior to the birth of Jesus Christ, many describing the circumstances leading up and during that event. Other references point to the Anointed One visiting His people, with the triumphal entry prior to the crucifixion being pivotal. The descriptions are evidentiary to the direct Biblical intervention of Almighty God in His supreme effort to reconcile a deviant humanity to Himself, as He declared He would do from the time of the Garden of Eden. Only in unbelief is denial possible. The Anointed (Mashiach) One, the Holy One of Israel, the Yeshua (Savior), has so many prophetic passages that were fulfilled by Jesus that it is impossible any mere human could have performed them, since most were associated with some miraculous event. No one except Jesus Christ (and only by His own Divine power) could have performed them at all. But in blindness to such supernatural activities, a human not ready to accept the intervention of Divine circumstances in their life can, by Divine allowance, choose not to believe. However, condemnation awaits those who so choose and do not change their minds before death, and eternity without Jesus Christ is the result. Now there is an ability to say that one has some form of love for Jesus Christ, the man, and many religions do; there is no monopoly on that. But to say that one has a spiritual love relationship with Jesus Christ and does not respect Jesus' own words on how that love is expressed, by being obedient to Him in all things and respecting His Deity, therein lies the greatest tragedy, for it is not a true love, but an empty, unfulfilled emotional condition that has no spiritual connection to who Jesus Christ is. This is what appears to be expressed in the Quran by the Islamic Prophet, who by his own account would not recognize the truth about Jesus Christ. It is also found in empty Christian religiosity pervasive in some denominations professing belief, but are spiritually disconnected, such as those entertaining the notions of assemblies like the Jesus Seminar, who have left the true faith for humanist philosophies. This emptiness is about to come full circle some two thousand years after the birth of Jesus Christ this Rosh Hashanah. We see the world trying very hard to dismiss the reality of its existence being governed supernaturally, running to and fro in complete disbelief and not understanding why no one is willing to come to some middle ground and work out the differences. The world is human, inclined not to be civil when personal preferences are taken as dictates over the common good. It is in the sin nature to do such things. It is the reason Jesus Christ made His first appearance, and it is about to be brought to His completion of His Word in His return. We as true Christians need not wait to throw our adoration on Him for His saving grace in our lives. Further, it is not for the Christian, not even this reader, to save an individual, but to witness His grace and mercy in these times we see unfolding. Only the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ saves, entering and communing with an open and willing heart to express the love of Almighty God in forgiveness of sins and putting aside unbelief. One need not wait for that either: actually, waiting for that will cost someone their eternal opportunity to have Jesus Christ in their heart now, and the loss of being with Jesus Christ in eternity. A true disciple of Jesus Christ does not need to wait: an unbeliever cannot afford to wait to accept the truth of Jesus Christ.
