maxhar: A horse with a human face and similar Islamic storiesReader comment on item: The Enemy Has a Name Submitted by Plato (India), Jul 12, 2008 at 08:24 >>You are trying to compare two totally different things. Islam is divine religions and Hinduism is just stories…<< Why do you say Hinduism is just stories when Islam also contains even more wonderful stories? Let us take a look at the ‘divine' stories in the ‘divine' religion Islam. To begin at the beginning: 1. A strange unearthly creature called Gabriel frightens the starving, meditating Muhammad into believing that he is speaking on behalf of another phantom being called Allah, who he says is the creator the universe and an unbelievably powerful being and yet refuses to show Himself. 2. This Gabriel dictates bits and pieces of divine stories out of two other revelations from the all-powerful being. 3. The stories include one about another person like Muhammad, called Sulaiman, who could talk to and understand what ants, birds said. 4. Muhammad himself did astounding stuff (with the help of the all-powerful being) splitting the moon into two, and traveling to meet up and talk with this phantom sitting in a place called paradise traveling on a human-faced horse. 5. Stories told in this divine religion has school children dumbfounded. It claims that stars are missiles to drive away jinns trying to listen to conferences in heaven between the supreme being and his angels like Gabriel. 6. The religion also claims that one of its prophets traveled to the ends of the earth and saw the sun setting in a muddy pool. 7. In another place the holy of book of this religion claims that mountains are pegs to prevent the earth from shaking during an earthquake. >>…and Humans are always for easy way out… following their lust.<< You too seem all for the easy way out. You say Hinduism is all about stories and ignore the unbelievable stories Islam asks you to believe. As to humans following their lust, Islam's ideal human, Muhammad himself followed his lust but claimed he had divine sanction. Muslims seem to get amnesia when his marriage to Zainab gets divine approval after he had committed the crime…oops, I mean after he had committed the holy act. He married his friends 9-year-old daughter when he was in his fifties riding rough shod over the friend's objection that they were like brothers. >>Either you are quite naive or …. she is Hindu and Hindu/Sikhs will follow her. She hasn't started new kind of cult or anything… there are many more these kinds of people in Hinduism….<< Exactly what are you trying to say? I told you that the Mata has a devoted following of hundreds of thousands all over the world despite only a few years of mostly hugging and kissing people (very little preaching) unlike Muhammad who despite a decade of preaching in Mecca could manage only a handful of followers. He needed the power of the sword to increase his following significantly. >>If Islam was spread on sword, you all be Muslim, after 1000 year Muslim rule in India… .So keep your thoughts to yourself as it doesn't reflect facts….<< Respected world historians have concluded that Muslim rule over the thousand you years resulted in the death of nearly 80 million people. Refer for proof to the gloating, gleeful accounts of Muslim historians reporting on some of the death the destruction wrought by Muslim Sultans (I have already quoted from some of them on this blog. Ask and I will quote them all over again for your information). This means not that Muslim rulers were not trying to convert, as Muslim apologists would like us to believe, but that despite millions killed, the population resisted with their lives Muslim attempts to destroy their ancient culture and beliefs. And succeeded. >>When you mention Quran has cursed non-Muslim then again you have been misguided by your own ignorance.<< The verses I had mentioned are 2;88, 2:89, 2:161, 4:46, 5:60, 9:30. A god who claims to be kind and merciful cannot spew such hatred against His own creatures. Instead of calling me ignorant you should have proved my ignorance by demonstrating it with proper context or translation or whatever device you wish. >>As Quran curse which non-Muslim and why… read full context and put things in context before making you ill informed comments.<< Read my comment above. >>My prayers for you…. May Allah SWT guide to right path. Ameen.<< My thanks for your kind prayers.
