The truthReader comment on item: The Enemy Has a Name Submitted by sTs (United Arab Emirates), Sep 17, 2008 at 08:09 Here is a summary of what we talked about 1. We conclude from the following that the Bible is corrupt a. Related stories inside the bible do not match reality and logic i. Ishmael the first born 17 year old child 1. Ishmael should had helped his mother to find water 2. Ishmael being 17 years old, his mother could not have lifted him in here hands 3. The placement mentioned "Moriah" is pronounced Marwah and it is a place near Mecca where Abraham left Ishmael and his mother. ii. Jacob takes prophet hood from his elder brother by deceit, 1. It is not the manner of the prophets to deceit 2. It is God who selects His prophets, it is Not for a prophet to select his successor 3. The only incident that a prophet asked God to bring with him another prophet is Moses who asked God to support him with his Brother Aaron. And God agreed. iii. The bible says that Jesus voluntary accepted to be on the cross to save people from their sins 1. looking at the verse when Jesus said while on the cross "Eli Eli lama sabachtani" is that Jesus was not happy to be on the cross 2. If Jesus was God then he knows why he was on the cross and what will happen to him 3. since the bible claims Jesus to be divine, then it is obvious that the person on the cross is not Jesus, is earthly human who is suffering and asking help from God iv. The fact that Lot slept with his daughter does not befit a prophet 1. Definitely God would not allow it 2. the bible forbids people to become drunkards, so how about a prophet of God 3. a drunken person, do not understand what goes around and cannot be aroused to sleep with a woman. 4. How can his daughter have slept with him and he has no energy to sleep, when drunkard. v. The bible mentioned earthly generation linking Jesus to Abraham through Joseph (Who is not his father). 1. We all know that there is no link between Joseph and Jesus through fatherly link 2. We know that Jesus has no father 3. We know that tradition has it that generation linking is always to the father. b. We conclude that Jesus is not god i. He says why you call me good, only God is good ii. It is mentioned many times in the bible that Jesus is a prophet iii. Many times Jesus says the father sent me iv. Many time Jesus says obey the father v. We know the "son" thing is relative is not absolute 1. the Jews said they were sons of God 2. Jesus said many times in the bible that he is son of man vi. Jesus said to worship the father, not to worship him vii. There is every indication that Jesus is not God and he is merely a messenger of God viii. His miraculous birth and his miracles that he performed do not prove that he is God, but all done by the will of God. c. Why Christians say he is God i. Because of his miraculous birth ii. Because of his miracles iii. Because the Romans who worshiped many gods and goddesses iv. Because of the changes the church made in the bible d. Jesus prophesied the coming of Mohammad i. Jesus prophesied that he should go in order for the comforter to come ii. Jesus mentioned the characteristics of the comforter to be the same as Mohammad iii. He mentioned that the words of god will be on his tongue iv. That he will speak what ever God tells him to speak v. He is illiterate cannot read e. The corruption of the bible is evident from i. The remarks and admission by the church ii. The many editions and versions of the bible and their different texts iii. The interference of the church and the statesmen in changing the words of God iv. The compilation of the bible in many different languages , the original is absent v. History confirms that the Jews twisted the words of the Torah and the followers of Jesus changed the words of the Gospel to suit their breaching and make their breaching more acceptable to the people by including Gods with God. And to suit the church desires. vi. The trinity was introduced long after Jesus left this earth. vii. The Barnabas Gospel (Barnabas was one of the apostles of Jesus) which is nearest to the truth was rejected by the church because the name of Mohammad is mentioned their, and because many of the wrong ideas in the bible are exposed. viii. The many different books of the bible written by people not by Jesus, and are not the words of God. 2. The Quran is the word of God a. Evidence from the bible and the words of Jesus Christ b. Evidence from the miracles therein the Quran c. Evidence from Historical facts that the Quran is intact ever since descended on Mohammad d. Evidence from the compilation of saying by prophet Mohammad and prophecies therein e. Evidence from the Characters of Prophet Mohammad the honest the trustworthy as was called long before he was a prophet. f. His manners before becoming a prophet. g. His confirmation of his predecessor prophets and their books 3. Mohammad is a prophet of God a. The miracle "THE QURAN" b. His miracles as recorded in history c. His manners d. The attestation of the emperors and the priests, that a new prophet was about to emerge from Arabia according to the Jewish and Christian beliefs (Such as Buheira and other Jews as well as Hercules and the Najashi of Habasha……) e. The testimony of the prophet's companions who saw Archangel Gabriel f. The testimony of Aisha (Who is the wife of the Prophet) who witnessed the revealing of parts of the Quran while she was with the Prophets. g. The unexplained phenomenon during the pregnancy of his mother and during his youth away from his mother. h. Details of stories of the previous nations that were not recorded anywhere in any book before. 4. Misconception about Islam a. Islam as confirmed by Quran and Sunnah is not a wary religion, on the contrary it is a peaceful religion. b. The manners and morals in war set by the prophet and his companion should be an example how to treat the adversaries in the time of wars (treat prisoners with kindness), not to kill an animal, or cut trees, nor to kill innocent people. c. The actions of the Muslims in the early times of Islam were defending religion against aggressors. The actions now are also against the aggressors. d. Islam is away of life to prepare oneself for the next eternal life. Be kind to your brothers, neighbors, help the needy …… e. Islam says no compulsion in religion, you have your way and we have ours. And confince in the better way. f. To be a Muslim, you should believe in the one God, in his books and his prophets and angels, not to distinguish (set preference) between his prophets. To believe in Jesus as a mighty prophet of God and his Word put in the virgin Mary. And made mighty miracles, one complete chapter in the Quran called Mary. She is one of the best women in heavens and paradise and near to God. g. The West media is responsible partly of the misconception that the west have on Islam, they have twisted the facts in a hateful way. The other part that is responsible for the misconception are the Muslims themselves, they have gone far away from the proper teachings of Islam, even the religious people, they became materialistic, in other words far from God. Their behaviour and traditions, they attribute to Islam, is wrongly taken by the west as part of Islam. h. Many books were written by orientalists who injected poison against Islam. Unfortunately the Muslims were weak and occupied by the west and ignorant and illiterate, not advanced because of colonization. They could not respond. Now it is different we can respond and we can defend our religion. And prove it to be the right religion for all. i. They say the prophet married a 9 year old girl. But they don't remember that in 1930s 12 states of the united states legalized marriage at the age of 12 for the girls and they don't read history to see that Caesar had set the girl age to 10 for marriage because the father made their daughter marry in much earlier ages. They don't see that the virgin Mary have delivered Jesus at the age of (11 or 12). Also they don't see that the women in hot regions grow and mature much quicker than in cold regions of the earth.
