Inbreeding in Islam, the New York Times and "Islamohopbia"Reader comment on item: Study the Koran? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 7, 2017 at 12:49 Dr Pipes Inbreeding in Islamic countries is a serious health problem as Muslim men and women can marry (and they do) their cousins and it is based on Q4:23 http://quranx.com/4.23?Context=3 Now, check this article from the New York Times "Saudi Arabia awakes to the perils of inbreeding" Yes it is in the NYT but wait the article was published on May 1/2003! This was a time when an honest examination of Islam was taking place http://www.nytimes.com/2003/05/01/world/saudi-arabia-awakes-to-the-perils-of-inbreeding.html I doubt very much that such article would be published in the NYT now in 2017 because the Regressive Left will accuse even the NYT of Islamophobia Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
