More bogus claims from Muslim Apologists: Did Allah Create "Everything" From Water? Read and LaughReader comment on item: Study the Koran? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Sep 3, 2022 at 18:10 Dr. Pipes, This is the latest from the crazy world of Muslim apologists from India and Pakistan. They tell us that the Qur'an is a "scientific miracle" because it tells us in Surat al-Nuur: 24, that Allah created "everything from water." Here is the verse والله خلق كل دابة من ماء This can be rendered as: And Allah created every beast from water. So the word "water" in the verse is: ماء or: Maa' And indeed the word means: Water. But what is "water" in the Qur'an in this context? Here is what al-Tabari tells us "what does the word ماء mean in this verse?"! Are you ready? من ماء أي من نطفة Or: "From water" or (read as: it means) from SEMEN! Here is a link to al-Tabari's Tafsir or Surat al-Nuur:45 quran.ksu.edu.sa/tafseer/qortobi/sura24-aya45.html Well, may be al-Tabari is wrong so let us check al-Qurtubi Here is what al-Qurtubi says: من ماء أي من نطفة Or: From water or (read this as: it means) from semen Here is the link https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/tafseer/qortobi/sura24-aya45.html More disasters? al-Qurtubi tells us: أن الملائكة خلقوا من نور ، والجن من نار So al-Qurtubi is saying but the Qur'an says that: Truly the angels were created from light and the Jan created from fire (and not from water or semen!) which means that the verse does not make sense. More disasters? Then al-Qurtubi has to invent a "Tabrir" and he says: لا يستثنى الجن والملائكة ، بل كل حيوان خلق من الماء ؛ وخلق النار من الماء ، وخلق الريح من الماء The Jan and Angels cannot be included (in the claim that Allah created all beasts from water) and in fact he created every beast from water (read this as semen) and He created the fire from water and the wind from water! Absolute insanity Well, let us check an Arabic/Arabic dictionary and may be al-Tabari and al-Qurtubi do not know their Arabic This is what it says: المني ماء الرجل Or: Semen is the "WATER" of the man. Here is the link almaany.com/ar/dict/ar-ar/المني/ I feel sorry for all ignorant young Muslims from India and Pakistan that cannot read speak or write Arabic and believe their evil leaders that peddle this nonsense. The Qur'an is not a book of science! Last, next post will be about different readings for the word خلق or he created. And al-Tabari is editing the word as you shall see.
