Guiding the perplexed: Our dear "Really" aka CLdwards and the Sahih translators "decipher" the meaning of Q100-1-5! Mashallah!Reader comment on item: Study the Koran? Submitted by dhimmi no more, Dec 16, 2018 at 08:19 Our dear "really" aka CLdwards wrote >I am trying to figure how the author of this post doesn't understand that words in brackets are translators notes. These are the first 5 verses of Qur'an 100 1. والعاديات ضبحا And here the disaster: al-Mufasereen had no clue what these 5 verses mean! Here is al-Tabari http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/tafseer/tabary/sura100-aya1.html And here is what Pickthall wrote about these 5 verses: "The meaning of the first five verses is by no means clear. The above is probable rendering" This means Pickthall does not know and he is only guessing! However, the translators at Sahih know what these 5 verses mean! Sobhanallah! Here is their bogus translation Notice they don't even admit that the meaning of these 5 verses is not clear! https://quran.com/100/1-5 Oh no brackets? Were they eaten by the hungry goat too? Now, Care to explain to us our dear "Really"? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
