At last a good translation of the 1923-1924 Cairo Qur'anReader comment on item: Study the Koran? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Oct 9, 2017 at 17:12 Dr Pipes If any of you readers google the English translation of the the Qur'an the first choice will be from the shameful Sahih International translation (I do believe that it is a tendentious translation by non Arabs more likely not a woman from California as we are told but by Pakistani or Indian Muslims) At last I was able to find a very good translation of the Cairo Qur'an and it is by Mohamed Ghali. He was an Egyptian Quranic scholar and he translated the text and he does not seem to contaminate his translation by either the Sira or the Ahadith He is unapologetic about what the Qur'an says Here is the translation https://www.scribd.com/document/199055103/Dr-Ghali-Translation-for-the-Holy-Quran However, many Muslims don't like or even recommend his translation which makes his translation very credible Here is his wikipedia page in English https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammad_Mahmoud_Ghali
