An Egyptian doctor claims that female circumcision is safe!Reader comment on item: Study the Koran? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Sep 4, 2017 at 13:01 Dr Pipes I urge you and the readers to read this article that was written by an Egyptian Ob/Gyn doctor and the title of the article is: "Female Circumcision Limiting the Harm" He claims that there is no evidence that female circumcision is harmful when either the foreskin of the clitoris is removed or the whole clitoris is removed (for the readers the clitoris is not unlike the penis There is foreskin, glans and shaft) Notice that Dr Kandill does not provide statistical evidence and all he provides is his own interpretation of the literature with a dose of Epidemiology 101 and Statistics 101 But the message is loud and clear that the West should allow this barbarity called female circumcision in the US and Europe The most alarming question he poses and it is as follows: If male circumcision is allowed in the West and Jews and Muslims practice it why not female circumcision too? This issue indeed a challenge to our legal system Here is the link https://f1000research.com/articles/1-23/v1 Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
