Quran UnchangedReader comment on item: Study the Koran? Submitted by Mohamed M. Mohamed (Kenya), Oct 14, 2005 at 04:35 Dear Mr. Pipes,I will not pretend to be an Islamic Scholar nor an expert on Islamic issues. However, as a Muslim with the basic knowledge of my religion I know one thing for sure and that the Holy Quran/Koran is perfect in every way. It was brought down as God's last favour to mankind. Islam is a perfect way of life. It is sad to have read that you indicate that the Quran contradicts itself in the various versers over a period of time. Allah S.W.T. (God) has guaranteed that He will personally protect the Holy Book. If there have been changes, then how come nobody can translate "Alif Lam Mim"? If God Protects, who can un-protect? The Holy Quran caters for both the past and future and alot of what is happening today has already been mentioned in the Quran. Therefore let us not mislead one another as far as the Holy Quran is concerned. There is nothing like 'Militant Islam' and the likes. If one person from a particular community is a thief, this does not mean the whole community should be branded thieves. My submission is that all readers of the internet should be careful and observant of comments and articles ... Lastly my Apologies to Mr. Pipes if I have misinterpreted his article in any way but I stand for the truth.
