Renuking - Michel C. ZalaReader comment on item: Iraq - A Province of Iran? Submitted by Amin Riaz (United Kingdom), Jun 22, 2011 at 11:21 Pipes himself with is latest article refuted your entire structure of arguments better than I ever could. ... no - not single of his articles and i have read all - refutes what I say. If you go lond enough into history there was no such thing as USA - should it be revoked and given back to the Red Indian / native Americans if they rise up as a nationlist movement? Before the British landed into Middle East the landscape was very different. But if you want to be pandantic over it then yes - read Bible or Histroy (2 different things) Palestine exists longer than Israel does. Israel hasnot existed for over 2000 years - it had long died. Such claims do not give legitimacy to such feeble claims. Else there are not many nation states that would exist. There is no such thing as Pakistan or Bangladesh wouldn't exist for exmple. Hopefully you get my point. Nobody even talked about such a people, before Arafat created the notion of such. Actually he didn't - there is so much historical evidence - the British did that before Arafat ever got to it. You can't admit to something and them whitewash it with your next sentence. What kind of stupidity is that? Throughout history, Jerusalem was considered the capital of the Jews Even the jewish history doesn't support this. This notion raised up after Europe manage to kill 6 million worse than rats. At one time more jews lived in Iran than in Palestine - More jews lived outside Middle East then they did in it. What has well settled American Jews in year 2000+ got to do with the land designated as Palestinian Territory? By the internation community INCLUDING USA. Yet they forcefully go and inhabit that land? It is onething lo let jews live there - completely another when they designate JEWISH and ONLY JEWISH homeland. With no legitimacy given to the people living there what so ever. Its HITORICAL and WELL RECORDED fact 1000s of palestinain |homes were destroyed to make way for Jews. How is that right? To forcefully remove one set of people to accomodate another? Heck the Romans called the Province Judea. At that historically well described and documented time, there was no such thing as Palestinians. Again your sense and accuracy of history fails you. Arabs took that land largely from the Romans - only after then Muslim rule begins. Isralites were kicked out mostly by the end of Persian Rule - that was around 586BC. Of course Quran speaks of Jews as people. And that means .... what exactly. Quran speak of other sets of people too. That is neither here nor there. And yes Jews were one of the most rewarded people from God. Even the Ishamlites the Arab claim is from Jews. Since historical legitimacy< is a futile argument, as the place has changed hands so many times, we can only look at the status quo and beyond. So after such a sensible statement - why did you go into the bile below? Could ad should have stopped there. Unless you did not actually believe in it. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is to have one nation with equal citizens and free access to their holy sites. Jerusalem as capital of this nation, comprised of jews and arabs. This one democratic nation would be economically viable and sustainable, as opposed to a Palestinian State plus Enclave Gaza, which can never survive on its own and would have to be funded for ever by other muslim nations. Extremely sensible suggestion. But for this to work - the Jews would have to give it up as Jewish homeland - and Muslims would have to give notions of turning it into a Muslim state. The palestinian to lose the right of return. And Jews to import any more people from where ever. Nice idea - I support any peaceful solution - whether a 2 state or one secualr state. Without Jews moving anywhere and neither Palestinians. In conclusion, the people of the jews are well documented, even in muslim scripture, going back many thousand years, whereas the Palestinian People were never mentioned until the mid 20th century. Can you refute that? Yes I have - and there is no point keep repeating Jews as people thing over and over againg. because it does not mean much. 1 - the Jews were kicked out by the persian empire and there was no Jewish state there for over 200 years. 2 - Lets in lands such as USA Newszeland Australia and etc - there were nationalist movements by the natives - those would be hardly viable claims any longer IF they demanded control of whole area - that meant kicking out all non natives. 3 - Pre 1947 - there no such thing as Pakistani people existed - but they are a one nation. Flimsy as it is. 4 - Those people called palestinian - did not invent the name Palestine - that name is ancient. Those people are more native to the land. they have been there longer than Jews have. Who have come from West mostly - as they were the ones who were kicked out or left. There is a consensus that the Semitic peoples originated from Arabian Penninsula.
