I agree with just about everything you have said.

Sad indeed what America has become. I almost think we deserve a Democratically controlled nation. We have allowed a lot to slip right on by us. Indifference, self indulgence, and entertainment have dominated the American scene for a long time.

A president Obama with a congress controlled by Democrats may be a very lethal combination. It will wake a lot of people up. Unfortunately, I think it will be to little to late. A lot of damage can be inflicted in a four year term that the Liberal Democrats are preparing to serve up.

No one pays the least bit of attention to the artificial stance Obama has taken. All anyone looks at is what each candidate serves up day to day. Obama raised two children in a "church" that preached virulent hatred of, mostly, whitey. Suddenly, Obama quits the church when it becomes an expedient political move. Even the "Rev" Wright was unconcerned when his highly profiled member quit his church. It was simply a political move to get elected.

I couldn't care less what color a presidential candidate is. I wish a black man or woman with integrity would step up so we can put to rest all this blarney about Obama's not being voted for because he's "black". That notion is a cop out. The man's past is much more indicative of who he is and, not whatever he finds politically expedient from one day to the next.

I don't care much for McCain either. He's the lesser of two evils. There are other candidates I could vote for but, that could dilute any move to keep Obama out of office. To few people are tuned into any of the others and they will only help Obama get elected over McCain.

We've painted ourselves into a corner.
