Focused response to yah habibi.Reader comment on item: "An Arabist's Guide to Egyptian Colloquial" Now Online Submitted by IamJoseph (Australia), Apr 12, 2010 at 20:48 The law of precedence applies, else it becomes a lie-by-omission.You must pardon me Jospeh but this is really gobbledygook# Since when is the law of precedence gobbledgook - You tell us readers what does the "law of precedence" have to do with Egyptian Arabic ya ayuha al-fahlawi al-kabeer? # Your Q is surprising. The issue related to my assertion there is no such thing as Islamic law, namely if there is a same law in the Quran and Hebrew bible - the precedence ruled. Yes/no? >I suspect the precedence factor is a stumbling block for you. Was Moses Muslim by belief - or Hebrew, the son of Amran and Yochabeth? What does Moses or Amran have to do with Egyptian Arabic? Oh wait spare us this one # It has a lot to do with it. Moses was *NOT* a Muslim by belief or historically, as advocated by Muslims - its about the lie there was no Jewish temple under the Mosque in Jerusalem and Protocolian stuff. Moses had Hebrew parents - and the omission of this is a mark against Muslims, the silence by all Muslims constituting a lie-by-omission, and a failed attempt of Israel's heritage genocide. >There were no 'ARABS' nor Arabic writings in the Pharoahic times. So? And by the way did you ever hear of Herodotus' Arabs? If not then go and read some real history# Heridotus is post 500-BCE. Then we have established that there were really Arabs as far back as 500 BCE right? # If I said there were no Arabs pre-500 BCE - what do you think it means!? At the very least, it lays credibility about the falsehoods spread by Muslims about Moses, Abraham and any means of history recall of those who yet never had writings for a 1000 years. Muslims have a problem admitting anything about Jewish history - it contradicts the sermons in Islamic Madarassas and schools. >The first mention of ancient Egyptian culture and history, is mentioned only in the Torah.Really? Did you really study the history of Ancient Egypt? Let me guess: you never did and you only learned by pure fahlawa right? If so then go and read a real book of history# Yes, I have. You did? Mash'allah # I studied ancient history, including the greek writers you mention about Arabs and found Arab history is not so ancient. Instead of congratulating me with uncalled for sarcasm, enlighten with some proof: guess why we have no Arab kings, nations, capitals, wars, names pre-500 BCE! >is in the Hebrew bible, What is in the Hebrew Bible? Oh the history of Egypt? Sobhanallah! Yes. I gave many historical examples of ancient Egypt in the Hebrew bible. Hello? So how did Egyptians record their history? Let me help you: Epigraphy and monuments and papyri and ostraca oh and "etchings" Yes, recently discovered. But it still says the Hebrew bible reigns here, and that Arabs could have no input here - they never yet existed. All of archeology of Egypt, till 150 years ago, was derived from the Hebrew bible exclusively. >which is also the exclusive source for the life and history of Abraham and Moses. And you tell us what does Moses or Abraham have to do with the fact that Egyptian Arabic is a real lugha? You are not very focused our dear !am # I'm very focused here and I mar what I say in a public forum. There is no egyptian arabic, there is only Hebrew which mentions Abraham. Arabs & Muslims would not know of this fugurehead but for the Hebrew bible. Nothing to do with revelation. It also says, if there was such a thing as Egyptian Arabic - there would NOT be a total vaccuum of any such writings till 400 CE. Roecket science! >Not my opinion but a fact. Where are you saying the Arabs got this knowledge from when Islam emerged - from heaven, or from the ground of the Jews which displays volumous books spread every 100 years for a 1000 years before Islam emerged? And? What is your point? let me guess: You have no clue right? I have a clue, but my assertion was a blatant one. It says Islam got its knowledge of Abraham & Moses from Jews embedded in Arab lands after the babylonian exile, including math, algebra, Moses and Monotheism. Consider what happened to Arabs after the Jews left in '48: name your contributions aside from exploiting oil from the earth? If you check real history, you will see that all f the most prominent positions in Arab-Islamic states were held by Jews, including managing the nation's wealth, medicine, law and admin. The pashas had Jewish doctors & accountants exclusively - the point here being you got more than oil from Jews, and calling Jews as alien to Arabia is one big joke. Guess what the Christians do when you leave the room - they laugh their heads off! Hello: Every religious nut borrows from some other religious nut # Then you should have no problem admiting the first introduction the universe is finite [It had a 'beginning'/Genesis 1/1], that the only scripture which does not say the world is flat is the Hebrew, or that Jews never 'BORROWED' the history of Abraham from elsewhere. From whom did the Hebrew bible borrow the introduction of the day and week for humanity - not part of your education? Marshallah applies, no?! >This is also truth of Abraham and his history, as well as any history of ancient Arabia itself. That Allah is great does not also mean a false history view is great. What is false here our dear Joseph? you see slogans do not work here in this blog so do me a favor and stop your rather silly slogans# Its not a slogan but based on facts. What facts? the fact here is that you are not very focused and you do not make any sense and you need to work on your writing skills # Abraham and Moses were introduced to humanity - including to Arabs and Muslims, in the Hebrew bible. Either you acknowledge it or deflect about my writing skills. >Be free to post any reference to Abraham from any other sources independent of or predating the Torah? What gave you the impression that I'm interested in Abraham or the Torah? # If you keep reflecting it, if you cannot bring yourself to admit this fact - it means you have a strong interest in denying it. >Back to topic, history will show that Jews have never occupied another peoples' land in all their 4000 year history -So? What is your point?# Obviously, the terms ZIONISTS ARE ZIONISING ZION is a false premise. And what does this have to do with the fact that Egyptian Arabic is a lugha? # It does have to do with this discussion. Muslims are claiming Jews are occupying Jerusalem - hello? I say Jordan is occupying Jordan, and Islam/Arabs/Muslims cannot claim they have not invaded and robbed a host of lands belonging to others, from Egypt, Hebron, East Jerusalem to Pakistan. Dumping a mosque on other peoples' lands does not change history. What fiction? and do you know what the word fiction really means? >Ancient Egypt was not Arab - And was not Greek either inspite of the fact that the Greeks ruled Egypt for 1000 years # I know - we have evidence of it, even from the Hebrew writings. We have no evidence of Arabic or Arabs before 500 BCE. >there are no Egyptian arabic pre-500 BCE - So? And there was no English in North America back then either # So how would Arabs and/or Islam know of Abraham or Moses? Do the math. >the reason this fictional language does not have any Egyptian Arabic books - unlike the Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Roman, Christian writings. Any clues why this is so? What fictional language? do you hear voices too? # Its a totally logical question. While aramaic and greek existed, Arabic did not exist back then. >No Gobbledygook: Jews have never stolen anyone's land in all their 4000 year history. So? what is your point? # So the term Jews/Zionsists are illegally *OCCUPYING* another peoples' land is a farce. The point. And we can't say the same for Muslims occupying the lands of the Coptics, Kurds and Indians. My point. > Exactly the reverse applies to Islam So? we know that! # Who knows that - the Arabs in Gaza or in Kashmir? Now I'm going to be blunt again: You need to work on your writing skills and stay focused. # Focused: responding to precise statements precisely. Grammar was introduced in the Hebrew bible. Ask Shakespear and Milton - they use loads of Hebrew expressionisms and syntax derived exclusively from the Hebrew. I'm focused.
