Everyone is a fundamentalist

I don't think you have to worry about the "Christian fundamentalists" getting their hands on WMD, ...

The tag 'fundamentalist' always brings a smile to my face. I suppose it is hard for our post-nineties culture of hedonism to fathom fundamentalism....the atheist and agnostic are every bit as fundamental as the Muslim or Christian. There is a saying that goes, "Never believe your own PR" or something like that, and what I think is happening is that people believe the hystrionics and hyperbole about fundamental Christians and go berserk. I frankly hope that a Christian emergence is coming about in the south...We sure could use it in the north, where churches are basically karaoke clubs for future Christian pop idols.
