You Have Not Read My PostsReader comment on item: A Christian Boom Submitted by Servant of Christ (United States), Dec 7, 2006 at 19:08 Listen... Islam is the fastest spreading growing religion in the world and there is no one that can deny that. It even says on statistics. You made a huge blunder here. I am not denying that it is the fastest growing religion. However, that proves nothing. If you think numbers prove that Allah is God, then you are saying Allah is subjective. Therefore, Allah cannot exist. Hopefully, you are not saying that. You guys say Islam was spread by the sword? How about when the Christians killed the Pagans like crazy after Jesus (PBUH) in your belief, was crucified? It's history buddy. Akbar was right. You guys need history lessons. That verse in the Quran 9:5, it was protection against the Meccans, have you even studied the history of the Meccans people? Read about them. Muhammad (PBUH) got stone whipped and humilated by the Meccans and when he walked in the city of Mecca and took it, everyone said to Muhammad (PBUH) "We are in your control now do whatever you want" now a normal leader would slaughter these people but you know what Muhammad PBUH said? "Let these people go! Do whatever you want! You are free!" and these people wanted to kill him. Islam was not spread by the sword, it was spreaded by peace. Wrong, early Christianity was persecuted by the Romans. Later, people chose to use Christianity as a guise for their own selfish desires. Jesus warns us of false followers. Again, a religion's truthfulness is not decided by the followers (if it was, then it would be subjective). Find me where Christianity says that we should kill everyone. Muhammad insulted the Meccan people first. The Meccans begged and pleaded with Muhammad's relative to make him stop. Unfortunately, Muhammad pushed his limit. Peace? So Muhammad's slaughtering of the Jewish people is a sign of peace? In Egypt, when the Muslims came into Egypt, they settled and many Christians were living in Egypt at the time and you know why 98% of Egyptian population was Muslim? They reverted! They said "These Muslims are really kind and very truthful about their word" and this is how it was spreaded by peace! and if it was spread by the sword wouldn't that mean all the Muslim nations that were spread by the sword(in you opinion) then reject Islam? No. They reverted fully. Look at the Ottoman Empire, a Christian Empire became a Muslim Empire and it was one of the strongest Empires. The Christian empire was conquered by the Muslim empire, mind you. Now explain to me Christianity... -You have to give the other cheek and love everyone? You think Servant of Christ is showing love? No! He is making fun of other religions and i don't think the Bible says "Do not make fun of any religions or anything" does it? I hope not. Hmmm... how about this? In the Bible, Christians claim Christianity is peaceful? It's the most violent religion on Earth! They massacred many people in Jerusalem, Granada and even against their own fellow Christians! My Gosh! What kind of Religion is this? Answer that. Answer the fact when Catholism was spreaded forcefully in South America? It was forced and the Christians destroyed a CIVLIZITATION! WOW! and tell me Islam is spreaded by the sword?HAHAH!!!!! Not even one Muslim soldier stepped in the lands in Malaysia or Indonesia(The Most highest Muslim POP in the World). I am not making fun of religion. I am analyzing your religion and pointing at flaws. In fact, I have not even mentioned much about Islam of late. Lately I've been defending my stance on Christianity. I am no friend to Catholicism. Do not confuse that with Christianity. Again, your argument is fallible. Find me the doctrine that supports such an act. For now, they will be under the label of "pseudoChristians'. I won't even bother to remind you about how the Muslims started the Jihad, the Armenian massacre, and how Muslims raped countless women. But once again, this debate is on the doctrine. If the doctrine supports the acts of the followers, then we can start using followers as evidence of evil. -Get me a verse from the Bible say that Jesus said "I am your Lord, follow me" or whatever. I challenge you and i gurantee you will lose this challenge. It is obvious that you did not read my previous posts. Please refer to them: 28Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. I trust that you know the significance of the term, Son of Man? Hopefully you don't find me too boring for your comedy: 18For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God. (John 5:18 NIV) emphasis added The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God." 64"Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." 65Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. 66What do you think?" Who is the Messiah? For to us a child is born, Jesus never denied that he was the Son of God. May God Bless You All
