Its an interesting notiion you have of a moderate muslim being one who doesn't know about Islam, I think its the other way around. A muslim who knows more about Islam is not violent and does not commit these crimes. You think that the Bible does not exhort Jews and Christians to go and kill, well I think you are someone who doesn't know much about any religon.

Cursed be he who does the Lords work remissly, cursed he who holds back his sword from blood. (Jeremiah 48:10 You think Islam was spread by the sword and that all non-muslims were killed or forcibly converted? The middle East has millions of Arab Christians, who have been there for thousands of years. Spain had Christians before, during and after the muslims were there. India has millions of Hindus, the wife of Akbar was a hindu and stayed a hindu all her life. Indonesia is the most populated muslim country in the world, yet no muslim army has ever set foot there. You talk about the muslim sergeant killing his fellow americans, well he was deranged, how do you explain the US troops torturing and murdering Iraqi prisoners? Are they representing the Christian world, or the democratic world? There are very few muslims who are terrorists, the fact that you are alive and reading this proves it, cos if 1billion muslims were terrorists, we would be strapping on a couple of pounds of semtex each and blowing the whole world apart.
