Your comment full of pessimistic conjecture fails to assess some basic facts. First, Israel has defeated all Arab nations who have attacked it since 1948. The present Israeli military foray into south Lebanon is being conducted on a limited and restrained basis. No, Muslim nation in the world wants to go toe to toe with Israel in a direct conventional war with the use of armies. They know that they have been defeated in this mode of war, and fear further humiliation. The strategy of the Arab-Muslim regimes and their terrorist organizations is to make life as painful as possible for the Israeli's, while the state of Israel exists. If Hezbollah or Hamas obtain nukes in the future, it is unlikely that they will want to destroy Muslim holy sites, which are intermingled with Jewish and Christian ones. Nor will they want to indiscriminately kill millions of Arabs who live in close proximity to a Jewish nuclear strike and poison the land, air and water for future generations of Arabs.

Since Israel has defeated armies, they know how to deal with cowards who hide behind masks, strap bombs around their waists and use women and children as shields and defeat them as well.

Israel is prevailing!
