Jerusalem surely doesn't belong to Muslims

Dear Dr Pipes, Why is it so difficult for Muslims to understand that no piece of land belongs exclusively to Muslims. Jerusalem/Islamabad/Tehran/Paris/Tunis/Banaras/London/Baghdad/what-have-you belong to all humble human beings irrespective of their religions. And, nothing belongs to those who make anyone a dhimmi. Nothing belongs to Islam.
