Daniel Pipes is absolutely correct in stating that in spite of Israel's weariness, Israel needs to maintain its diligence in the current conflict with the terrorists - as well as all future ones, and there will certainly be future ones. It is a given reality that as long as Israel is aurrounded by enemy nations who's goal it is to "push Israel into the sea" or "off the face of the earth" that there will definitely be similar wars in the future, and Israel will need to do whatever is needed to promptly and mightily defend herself. Likewise, the United States must stand by its only true ally in the region and provide any and all logistical and military support needed.
We cannot let this sovereign nation fall victim to the radical islamists whose goal it is to dominate the region as well as the west. Appeasement is not an option as evidenced by the fact that Israel is now having to fight their sworn enemies in the previously surrendered territories of Gaza and southern Lebannon.
