This is like watching a train wreck in slow motion, hopeless to do anything more thant comment on the chaos and collision. On CNN last night (a network I avoid unless he's on there, Daniel Pipes trumped two appeasing (who worship at the altar of diplomacy), talking-heads with the comment that wars only end when someone wins and someone else loses. How can anyone with a college education miss that point?
We're watching an Israel that is suffering from the same aversion to war that was behind the minimalist strategy of the US in Iraq. Someone in Israel commented yesterday that if Tel Aviv is hit THEN the gloves really come off. Incredible statement.
With each passing day of artillery exchanges, Israel continues losing. And that is not good for them, nor for the West.
