Daniel Pipes has proven himself to be the second most famous Jewish carpenter in history (I call him a carpenter because he always hits the nail on the head).
However, he committed an error in his article entitled "Israel Has a War to Win" (July 20, 2006). He states, "I suggest that the [U.S.] administration make the following requests of Tel Aviv ... ."
When reference is made to a city as the representative of a country, the city is always the capital - where the seat of government is located (e.g., "high level diplomatic talks between Washington and Moscow" refers to high level talks between the United States and Russia). Pipes should have referred to Jerusalem, not Tel Aviv.
