Dear Dr Pipes, Islamic ethnocentrism is is exhibited by Muslims shamelessly. Muslims are so sure about their righteousness that they admit to their wrongs believing they are rights. Consider, for example, the definition of Jihad presented by Mr Hamza: jihad doesnt NECESSARILY mean "holy war", it just means "struggle against the enemies of Islam".
May we know who are the enemies of Islam? And, what are the methods of violence permitted under Jihad. Will I qualify to be an enemy of Islam if I do one of the following:
1. I oppose the stubborn Monotheism of Islam because I believe in idol worship.
2. I object to Islamic scriptures because they criticize other religion's scriptures.
3. I oppose the tendency of 'bad muslims' to resort to violence.
4. I oppose the absence of democracy and prevalence of theocracies in the Islamic world.
5. I oppose Muslim-only zones and Muslim-only countries.
6. I oppose Islamic adhans played on loudspeakers of the benefit of others all over the world.
Would appreciate if Mr Hamza answers.
