You are looking for excuses instead of the Obvious. Mohammed made no such statements. The Muslim world, with over 1.5 billion followers only has produced 8 Nobel prizes for science. There are only 3 Universities in the TOP 500 from Muslim countries.

Those 2 facts clearly show that Muslims do not value work or study. those are facts not opinions.

Australia has 14 Universities in the Top 500 with only a population of 22 million!

The Muslims from non middle eastern (ie south east Asian) do have much closer to the white Australian population levels of education and employment.

What these results show, is that the closer you get to Mecca ... The oil industry that produces the vast bulk of wealth of the Arabs, is virtually fully manned by foreigners.
