My first observation is that 'logic' so often becomes victim to the vagaries and convolutions and serendipity of perception and bias and experience.
I do agree with you that an uncluttered and educated mind that is also blessed with discernment would not care to live under a Caliphate and full Sharia, or approve of the concept of a dar al-Islam.
Indeed on one level at least, the phrase 'Islamic Logic' may be viewed as a paradox with oxymoronical adjuncts.
