Islamic comedy: Allah's 99 or is it 98 names! read and watch and laughReader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Apr 11, 2012 at 14:17 For the readers; In the Qur'an a book that our dear Amin can recite (he is a Fiqi or he who recites the Qur'an) but may the Gods forbid does he know what it says in Arabic? well he has to depend on a Pakistani book called Shira jami! So he is sorting out what the Qur'an says by reading an Urdu book! right our dear Amin? For the readers: The Qur'an says that Allah has 99 names right our dear Amin? and you will find this little Quranic gem in ولله الأسماء الحسنى and you will find it in Q7:180 also you will find it in Q17:110 where it says فله الأسماء الحسنى But here is the problem: 1. You will not find Allah's 99 names in the Qur'an right our dear Amin? 2. You will not find the number of his names right our dear Amin? 3. But this did not stop Muslims from telling us that his names are either 98 or 99 and only Allahu A3lam right our dear Amin? 4. The islamic historical tradition is silent about naming the 99 or is it 98 names of Allah until the year 795CE or some 163 years after the death of Abul Qasim aka Muhammad not even a single word 4. Oh there is more: Enter a certain al-Walid ibn Muslim (also in some sources he is ibn Musalim!) and he was a rawi or راوي or a story teller who died in 795CE and whatis attributed to him is an ascription so we do not even have an extant copy of what he really said so my guess it was all made up and attributed to him 5. Oh more comedy? It seems that al-Walid kept changing the names and also foregetting some of them and he had no clue as you shall see about the difference between a verb and a noun 6. This is more evidence that it was the Qur'an that generated these stories and that non of this is for real and nothing historical about it Now eneter a young Muslim from al-Azhar University who is telling us that Allah's names the likes of المميت المذل المنتقم المتكبر الضار الخافض المعز العدل الحاسب الجليل الباعث المعيد المحضي الواحد الوالي المقتصد المغني المانع الباعث الباقي الرشيد الصبور and he claims that such wrong names are between 20-29 names! What a disaster well some of them are really starnge as in Allah being arrogant and he who kills! Well we are told that this names are غلط وليست صحيحة or these names arw wrong and not correct! What a disaster al-Walid was making things up and he is called al-mudalis or he was makning things up and as per our source from al-Azhar al-walid had no clue about the difference between a name and a verb as the above are really verbes and not names! What a disaster Muslims have no clue about Allah's so called 99 or is it 98 names! Oh you will find this sordid story in these two youtube videos so for those of you that understand Arabic watch and laugh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0fqzJ5MhF0&feature=related and the second part you will find it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0qW3n1jLbc&feature=relmfu But again this is what islam is all about So if you our dear amin do not like the above then contact Sheikh al-Azhar and rememeber I'm only al-rasul What a disaster Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
