Eivdence is There Already - Yours is the Free Choice Needing to be Exercised to BelieveReader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jan 3, 2012 at 13:47 In as simple language as I am used to, ( I'm sorry that I must express this in English; for it may be English does not express the thought as well as the original), the Christian experience is one of choice, of a free choice to believe or not, the words of Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible gives the circumstances of our existence in mortal infirmity; of hearts that cannot break free from the prison of our own mortal rationale and thoughts; and yet Jesus Christ gives us an'out-' salvation through exercise of free choice to believe in Him on His terms, and His terms only. Now, it is not me that says that the verses declaring the divinity of Jesus Christ are valid; these are in and of themselves the very reasons that support the decision I made under my exercise of free choice- to believe that Jesus Christ is LORD. He presented the facts- and after careful deliberation, I realized my need to believe and He gave me the power to do so. I have tried to explain: you have not put aside your absorption of human reasoning with Muslim influences intact to see what it is that is being witnessed to you. THAT is your free choice, one that is not mine to contradict, but yours to try and come to a reason why the love of Almighty God through Jesus Christ has not appealed to you. In human reasoning, the Holy Bible IS ambiguous if you do not have the desire to understand it for it truth-Isaiah 55 tells you why.
