The Truth About Yeshua HaMashiachReader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Dec 5, 2011 at 17:02 What proof is the Quran for things Jewish? Yeshua HaMashiach is not a Quranic figure as you and others try so desperately to make Him out to be. The Quran never tried to prove anything of Jewish origin since there was/is no respect of the Jewish Messiah, either in His Old Testaments proofs or the New Testament fulfillments. No matter how many times Issah/your presentation of Jesus is referenced in the Quran, it only does so to contradict who Jesus Christ really is. Go back to your arguments in the other post, where Isaiah 9:6 by your assertion is not Jesus, yet you cannot tell who Isaiah 9:6 refers to, like unbelieving Judaism. Let us recount the true account. Who appeared to the priest/parent of John , later called the Baptist? Who appeared to Mary, the pronounced mother of Jesus, overpowered by the Holy Spirit to produce the child of Isaiah 9:6, the child born in Bethlehem, sent to Egypt to escape Herod's maniacal jealousy, returning to Nazareth and after begin His Galilean ministry? Was that not Gabriel? The things reported that He did, of whose power was He able to perform such things, presuming you possibly might believe He did them (though I think that you do not)? Just because you maintain as all of Islam that Jesus Christ/Yeshua HaMashiach cannot be Almighty God, you have yet to prove according to His word He is not. My proof is that He IS Who HE says He IS. I have my eyes opened, not by any means of my power, but only by His power am I able to see that He has told me the Truth and you have yet to see why. You say that you love Jesus – the proof of that, by His own WORD, is obedience to Him. It is not my word that gives me my assurance to eternity with Jesus, it is His WORD. Read His words in the way He intended them, and not the way the Quran rewrites them. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
