Othman: The Muslim caste system is worse than that of the Hindus. Surprised?Reader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by Plato (India), Jun 18, 2012 at 12:22 Ben Othman you wrote: >>You are an idol worshipper.<< And you are an Allah worshipper. >>Charity begins at home. Sort out your domestic problems related to your idol worship belief. first.Kick out that horrendous and terrible thing called "CASTE SYSTEM' IN YOUR COUNTRY.<< Can you show me how idol worship is related to the caste system? Let me show how Muslim also have a caste system with which they are stuck for eternity. The caste system of Islam is worse than that of India. Muslims live in glass houses. There is an English saying 'Those who live in glass houses should not pelt stones at others'. Below is something of about the caste system from Wikipedia: "The caste system in India is a system of social stratification, social restriction and a basis for affirmative action in India. Historically, the caste system in India defined communities into thousands of endogamous hereditary groups called Jātis….. … Caste is neither unique to Hindu religion nor to India; caste systems have been observed in other parts of the world, for example, in the Muslim community of Yemen, Christian colonies of Spain, and the Buddhist community of Japan. …. Like castes elsewhere in Islamic world, Muslims in India have a caste system. Ashrafs are presumed to have a superior status, while the Ajlafs have a lower status. The Arzal caste among Muslims was regarded as the equivalent of untouchables, by anti-caste activists like Ambedkar, and by the colonial British ethnographer Herbert Risley who claimed that 56 percent of Muslims in British India were of a caste equivalent in status as the Hindu Shudras and Untouchables. In the Bengal region of India, some Muslims stratify their society according to 'Quoms.' Some scholars have asserted that the Muslim "castes" are not as acute in their discrimination as those of the Hindus, while other scholars argue that the social evils in South Asian Muslim society were worse than those seen in Hindu society" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caste_system_in_India The Koran itself sanctifies the caste system condemning half of humanity to a lower level than men. For this read 4:34 SHAKIR: Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great. You can thrash a woman like a slave if you are displeased with her. In Surah 2:228 Allah confirms the lowly position of women in condemning to be a degree below males. There are authentic hadiths which show the low caste status of women. Sahih Bukhari 7:62:115 Narrated 'Aisha: The things which annul the prayers were mentioned before me. They said, "Prayer is annulled by a dog, a donkey and a woman (if they pass in front of the praying people)." I said, "You have made us (i.e. women) dogs. I saw the Prophet praying while I used to lie in my bed between him and the Qibla. Whenever I was in need of something, I would slip away. for I disliked to face him." [Also 1.9.490, 493, 498] Allah also condemns non-Muslims as unclean in 9:28 which is exactly what the higher castes here in India think of those below them. Hindus are fast putting the caste system behind them. To even address a lower caste by his caste name can land you in jail now according to the law of the land. In Islam you are stuck with the eternal word and orders of Allah. Muslims have no scope of reforming their seventh century religion and releasing women from the evils they suffer because of they belong to a lower caste than men. Now show me any remote connection of idol-worship with the caste system. >>Then observe what we adherents of Semitic religion discussed, and God willing you may learn a few basic things about knowing who God is.<< Here are some funny thing about (your) God you should know: 002.106 YUSUFALI: None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things. (medina) So your God does not even know His own mind! Surah 16:101 is equally silly. And here are another two I find truly hilarious: 058.021 YUSUFALI: Allah has decreed: "It is I and My messengers who must prevail": For Allah is One full of strength, able to enforce His Will Here is a DECREE of the All-Mighty Allah who is self-proclaimedly full of strength, further claiming to be able to enforce His will. But His decree that He and His messengers must prevail has not come to pass for 1400 years. What is taking the all-powerful Allah so long to have his decree implemented. 016.063 YUSUFALI: By Allah, We (also) sent (Our messengers) to Peoples before thee; but Satan made, (to the wicked), their own acts seem alluring: He is also their patron today, but they shall have a most grievous penalty. Allah is Himself telling us that Satan is able to overpower His messengers' messages. No wonder Allah's decree has fallen flat. From what is going on in the Islamic world Satan's patronage continues to be better than Allah's. And did you notice the verse begins with 'By Allah'. Allah swearing on himself. How cute! [Just think a little and this slip of the tongue tells you that the Koran is Muhammad's word] So, this is a sorry God you worship, Ben Othman. The idols pagans worship do not make such tall claims as attributed to Allah. But at least they are visible and you can touch and feel them unlike Allah about whom you have only read in a book full of tall stories passed on to you via a supposed angel called Gabriel who supposedly spoke to Muhammad and whose existence is now in doubt. Without you having the basics on knowing who God is ( he's not your stone idol, you know ),..<< What are the basics of knowing God? Can you feel, see or hear him? You have read about him in a book whose authenticity itself is in doubt. Curious method to discover god. >>…it will be a sheer waste of time and effort to discuss heavy topics with people like you.<< What kind of heavy discussion can you have about a being that cannot make up his own mind as in 16:101 and 002.106. Or whose messages can be subverted by Satan as in 16:63. >>Intelligent people do not pray at idols. stones , pictures and images.<< How intelligent is it to pray to phantom in the sky? This phantom does not even know his own mind. >>If you claim you are a christian, then why did not you help Dhimmi no more( he's gonna be a muslim ) with that simple question in my posting 'Lost Sheep of Israel--(as per Matthews 15:24 )" Or maybe you are him. whatever--I am not at all surprised at your masquerades and charade.<< DNM is the last person to require my help, and no, I am not him. He posts from the US and I from India. Mathews 15:24 says Jesus was sent to the lost of sheep of Israel. But your Koran says he was also a prophet of Islam. If you accept Mathews, then Muslim claims to Jesus as one of their prophets falls down. Regards Plato Submitting....
