al-Tabari is saying that the word bism is not a word known to the Arabs or their grammarians!Reader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Jan 17, 2012 at 13:15 Oh I forgot to mention so who is really the soucre of the tradition quoted in al-Tabari's exegesis of the Quranic disaster bism and to remind the readers that the tradition says that Jesus said that he does not know what the word bism means (very bizarre for a man whose first language was Syriac!) and that it is a mistake and it is an acronym and not a real word and that it is not an Arabic word known by the Arabs or their grammarians. What a disaster the word bism in the basmala is not really an Arabic word! Oh the source of the tradition? Oh al-Tabari tells us that it is Muhammad! What a disaster So you see our dear Amin who lives among kuffar it is your sources that tell us that and if you do not like it then destroy them and good riddance
