al-Tabari and the Quranic disaster BismReader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Feb 18, 2012 at 17:15 What a disaster so let me see with your islamic logic 1. So al-Tabari tells us that your so called prophet claimed that Jesus said that the word bism has no meaning and that it is not a word and it is an acronym right? 2. So you tell us why should we not believe astaghfirullah a tradition attributed to Abul Qasim himself and Jesus? were they liars? or were those isnads no more than lies? or were the sources of the isnads liars? or was al-Tabari was making things up? so which one is it? Oh I smell a fatwa here and you know what? If you tell us that such tradition is a lie then there is no reason for us to believe anything that the Islamic historical tradition tells us Oh so is bism an acronym our dear Amin whose Hindu ancestors were brutalized by islam? just a yes or no answer would do and why would al-Tabari include such tradition unless there were indeed Arabs that were saying that this is not an Arabic word and it must be an acronym you tell us For the readers: the very sophisticated al-Tabari who was persian and it is clear to me that he was horrified by the many mistakes in grammar and spelling and the many foreign words in the Qur'an as bism and the many words that have no meaning and as the old saying goes if you can't beat them join them as his people the people of Iran were dragged into islam so what is the ultimate revenge than to create Islam and the books of islam and in the process makes it clear that the whole thing is no more than a charade And in the words of Rippin what al-Tabari did in his masoritic exegesis was very clear and it was "bringing the language of the koran into alignment with the language of the arabs" which really means that in the case of bism he realized that this cannot be an Arabic word and if the acronym tradition was not a real concern he would not have included it but this cultured man could not let go of a bogus claim that the word bism is an Arabic word and he who laughs last laughs best and I'm sure he must be turning in his grave as he left a legacy of exposing the poor literature called al-Qur'an Oh and here is again for the nth time the word istilam means RECEIVING and here is el-maany again if you can read Arabic معنى استلام في قاموس المعاني. قاموس عربي عربي أنقر نقرة مزدوجة على اي من الكلمات في النتائج، للبحث عن معاني الكلمة المنتقاه
So can you tell us where would we kuffar find the word paper receipt in the above? you will not find it Oh and here is the real meaning of the word paper receipt معنى إيصال في قاموس المعاني. قاموس عربي عربي أنقر نقرة مزدوجة على اي من الكلمات في النتائج، للبحث عن معاني الكلمة المنتقاه
This is what paper receipt is in Arabic O glorious graduate of wahhabi central Now you must put up or and you must pardon me shut up Oh you can write to elmaany and tell them that paper receipt means istilam and let us see what they would say Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
