Foreign words in the Qur'an galore and my source? Sheikh al-Azhar!Reader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Feb 18, 2012 at 14:55 Oh and here is the evidence from no other than your master Sheikh al-Azhar web site about the many foreign words in the Qur'an and if you can read Arabic can you tell the readers what is he saying 4- الكلام الأعجمى جاء فى سورة الشعراء:(نزل به الروح الأمين * على قلبك لتكون من المنذرين * بلسان عربى مبين) (1). Let me help you he is saying that there are indeed foreign words in the Qur'an the likes of Adam, Aabreeq, Ibrahim, Arank, istabraq, injiil, tabut, tawra, juhanam, hibr, hur (what a disaster the 72 virgins thing is a foreign word) Zakat (so next time you pay your zakat remember it is a loan word from Hebrew!) zanjibeel, sabt, sijiil, saradiq, sakina, sura (oh darn it the word sura is a foreign word and guess what? It is a Syriac word) sarat (oh we talked about this one already right our dear Amin?) taghut, 3adan, fara3oon, mashkat, maqalid maruut, haruut and last but not least ALLAH is a foreign word You see our dear Amin if you do not like what Shiekh al-Azhar is saying then write him and tell him and he will think that you are out of your mind Oh there is more - ونحن من اليسير علينا أن نذكر كلمات أخرى وردت فى القرآن غير عربية الأصل ، مثل: مِنْسَأَة بمعنى عصى فى سورة " سبأ " ومثل " اليم " بمعنى النهر فى سورة " القصص " وغيرها. Here is your evidence that sheikh al-azhar is saying and it is not me who is making this up that the words aleem and mansa'a are foreign words Now and you must pardon me put up oh you know the rest of the sentence
