Torn Between Heaven and Earth - Read the Revelation of Jesus ChristReader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Dec 21, 2011 at 15:39 Long before there was the notion of the 'big bang' and the Egyptian sense of the cosmos, there was the WORD. In Job 38:33, the question is posed: Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? If we are to look to the heavens to gain any evidence of the existence we live in, it has got to be better than as provided by any observations and dictations of man. But the motions of heaven are more delicate and intricate than one might suppose of a 'woven' wonder; for explanations of how the stars and planets are required from a source that uses them for manifesting the power of Almighty God at each and every time some significant event is portrayed regarding Israel. The convergences and heavenly signs shown to believers of Almighty God, the pausing of the planetary path during the times of Israel's formation; the announcement of the Messiah in His first advent as He is brought forth for the purposes of salvation, His 'star' bringing the 'magi' to His place of birth; the future changes in the heavens predicted for the future time of Israel redemption. It can be best summed up in the Revelation-the heavens are going to be shaken. Who now is going to be telling us how that is going to work? Job 38:33, the question is posed again: Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
