Hinds and Badawi's Arabic dictionary see Istilam page 427 and the word Wasl page 942 and you need to stick to Urdu our dear Jamil

You know our dear Jamil whose Hindu ancestors were brutalized by Islam and who lives among kuffar that pay the cost of your social benefits here is from Hinds and Badawi Egyptian Arabic dictionary (and Egyptian Arabic is really the most important and dominant form of Arabic) and Badawi's mother tongue is Arabic and this is what they tell us about the meaning of the words Istilam and Wasl

1. Page 427:

Istalam استلم to receive (they provide an example) el-rayyis bi yistilim talabat el-zabayyin (the waiter RECEIVES the order of the customers)

Then the authors tell us that the verbal noun for Istalam استلام is and you guessed Istilam which means that the word Istilam means RECEIVING

How come I do not see the word receipt here our dear jamil?

Oh wait we can find it on page 942 A where we are told that the word receipt means WASL

I do not see any Istilam here and why is that our dear jamil? are Hinds and Badawi ignorant or are they Isalmophobes you tell us

As for Ibn Warraq and Luxenberg you see our dear Jamil Pakistanis and Muslim Indians like you need not apply because I still have to meet a tablighee who is fluent in Arabic and Syriac and Hebrew (oh I forgot that you were learing Hebrew right?) and has great knowledge of the history of the late antique period and the early medieval period in the Middle East
