He tells us readers that Hans Wehr was a "grand grammarian" ! ROTFL This must be the most stupid remark that you ever made. Yes it is a good dictionary but there are many outstanding Arabic language dictionaries written by native speakers of the language and one of the best must be "Elias Colleigate Dictionary" Arabic-Arabic and Arabic-English and I have not heard any sane Arab calling Prof Elias "grand grammarian"
